Tonight is the make up or replay game between the Ducks and Blues from when Bouwmeester had the heart attack. It was 13 minutes into the game, and the score was tied 1-1-. Tonight they're playing a full 60 minutes, but the score starts at 1-1. Kind of weird. Would have been weirder if the score was 2-0 or a team w the lead.
Yea, it doesn't really make much sense. Just re-start the game from the point of postponement or start fresh. Doesn't make sense to do it this way.
The funny thing is the guys that had the goals dont officially get credit for them until tonight. Barbashev scored in that game, and every time he scored since, theyve had to say "This is his 10th goal, but officially it's his 9th"
I was trying to see if there was an O/U for the game and maybe the sportsbook made a mistake but nope.
Said it last year he was going to be a very high pick this season. Will be curious to see if teams view him as a C or a W at the next level.
I haven’t been down to a game yet this year but I’ll make it to a few playoff games. My boy AJ has been messed up this season. Was very serious at one point. Rossi v Perfetti has been talk amongst scouts all season. Slowly Rossi has emerged as the clear # 2 forward from the OHL for the draft.
Well fuck that. If they shutting everything down, I was going to be able bet more. Now I wont have anything to bet. Thanks Obama
Bozak is out of the lineup to be w his wife who is in labor. So that kid was a Stanley Cup celebration lol.
If teams have to play in an empty barn then they will have to refund fans for those games. That’s lost revenue but since we weren’t drawing fans we have less revenue to miss out on. Checkmate.
If they cancel the regular season and start the playoffs with the current standings when play resumes, I think that will finally break me as a panthers fan.
I play once a week with a former Stanley cup champion who is still in his 30s. It’s no fun (it’s a lot of fun) when he turns it on
i would get destroyed by these guys but the every once in a while big save would be so satisfying. played against Pominville when we were both 16, dude was 140 pounds soaking wet and he was so freaking slick. He went under the radar until he put like 20-30 pounds of muscle on in juniors. His hands were so crazy though. As a goalie you could see the difference when he had it. I remember thinking his coach was absolutely nuts for playing him on the second line and second pp unit.
John Scott played on my cousins beer league team during the lockout. My cousin played in college and I think plays with a few other former players up in Traverse City, but the John Scott one is hilarious because my cousin is only like 5'8" so Scott towered over him on the ice.
Oh when I can poke the puck away on a one on one it pretty much makes my day. Two torn ACLs and can still outskate everyone in the building.
Watch the league pull some type of fuckery and determine all teams will be in the lottery, hosing the teams that are holding multiple picks in the bottom 15.
I wonder if they'll suspend the season then kick everything out a month or 6 weeks. Start next season later and either play a truncated season or condense the schedule.
