    Yes, it’s worth it. There are different types of clips, so before you buy anything, confirm the type. Then go to a bike shop and try on the shoes for yourself to see which pair is most comfortable.

    Better than straps yes, but not as big of an upgrade as going from no strap/clip to strap/clip. Being clipped in helps you pedal through the whole stroke, which is something I’d never done since I had never used clips until recently.

    I don't know if it was the bike or not having shoes but I did a 20 min. Ride at a hotel last week and only hit 242 kj without shoes. Rode at my house the next day and hit 324 with my shoes, which beat my previous pr by 2. My typical not feeling great and just get through it 20 min. Ride is in the 280's.

    The ride at the hotel was one of those days so I would estimate it made a 40ish kj difference.

    Could have also been a cold bike. Everything felt 5 resistance points heavier.

    yes indoor or outdoor cycling benefits a lot by having clipless shoes. You lose too much power by not having them. Find out what type your studio uses and get whatever brand of that type you like.

    i'd recommend going to a bike shop rather than buying on amazon unless you are certain about your fit/size. thousands of rpms with uncomfortable shoes is terrible.

    After a couple heavy days I did Robin’s restoration ride and I can’t recommend it enough. Legs felt great afterwards.

    I have done a workout everyday for more than 90 days but due to trial I've missed the last two days which really sucks. Want to hit it hard tomorrow but want to do this recovery rode over the weekend.

    Robin’s 20 min recovery ride I think from March 4th. I did it with two 5 min stretching classes.

    the duo rides are really great and i hope they become even more frequent. i did cody+emma today and dug it... even did the dancing part =)

    Been doing the outdoor running intervals + HIIT classes. Then I ride the bike the following day and do low impact or something slightly easier. I feel great.

    My goal is to run a 5k in 25 minutes or less here in the next few months. I don't really care for long distance running. I'd rather be fast.

    Last two Tuesdays I’ve taken Robin’s 45 minute tabata rides. Last week wasn’t that bad. Today’s was maybe the hardest class I’ve ever taken. I think there was one harder that I felt like pissing during the ride but this one was close. Maybe because I am back on Keto but fucking felt like throwing up afterwards. I know it’s weird to say but that was kinda great. Numbed everything else.

    riding the bikes with fucked up calibration means the score doesn't matter. obviously he's in great shape but don't we have people here that can go 50 resistance/90 cadence or better? i think i've seen that score.

    my best is 57% avg resistance/79 average cadence for a 45 min ride. finished 41 of about 6.5k.

    I think that is the reason why they instituted the 'recovery ride' descriptions. It seems like more and more instructors, Kendall most notably, have moved the low impact from an active recovery to just not riding out of the saddle.

    If I am doing low impact I mindfully just stay within power zones 2 and 3 all ride (typically more zone 2). I think I took one of Kendall's latest and she was talking/taking pride about people PRing during the ride and think there was a 3-4 minute stretch which was at 45-50 resistance and 90+ cadence which is pretty difficult for newer riders or those that are still progressing.

    Whereas the recovery rides are now I think max resistance at 40 instead of 50 and typically have difficulty ratings below 5 from what I have seen to be an actual recovery.

    it was “easy” low resistance high cadence to get the blood flowing. Like I said before the ride my legs felt dead. Did the ride along with two 5 minute stretches and legs felt great.

    See for me easy recovery ride is like 20-30 minutes not even caring about pace or resistance. Just something above leisure stroll pace. This is where Jess King and I differ.

    Did one of those "feel good" or whatever rides this morning. There was ton out of the saddle and three different segments of alternating four seconds in and four seconds out. I didn't "feel good the entire ride.

    Didn't help that I did a 20 min. Glutes and legs workout before.

    Did Robin’s goodbye ride from yesterday seeing her cry did seem like a heartfelt organic moment. This bike has helped me with both my physical as well as my mental health. I am glad I bought it.

    My mixing of outdoor running in with my bike has yielded results. I beat my previous 45 minute PR by 20! Up to 478 now. I ran 3 miles the previous day at a sub 9 minute pace, too.

    Time to shoot for 500+!

    PR’d today with zero intent doing so when starting. Those are the fun ones.

    I’ve been on a consistent Emma and Robin diet, I cut out Alex, he’s too in your face with the yelling and I like Cody rides a lot but they seem too artificial at times
