I didn't care for it as much as it is more action based instead of turn-based. I know many love it though.
I didn’t like the action based nature, wish it would go back to turns. that being said, it is weird as shit and I liked them going back to that well.
Played about 4-5 hours of Division 2 last night. Confirmed that it was an excellent $2.99 investment.
Definitely my favorite metroidvania. I am hung up on literally the last boss but got through *most* of the optional bosses. My wife is obsessed with Hollow Knight and asks me almost daily if Team Cherry has announced the release date for Silksong (Hornet’s add-on which is supposedly as big or bigger than HK).
I’ve played a lot of the FF series and I really enjoyed FF 15. Love the combat and the amount of content.
Good news for me is that I am not investing another cent in this game. I'm gonna get like 20-25 hours out of this $3 investment.
If anybody is home and plans on playing warzone today and would be willing to post updates, that'd be appreciated
77% downloaded right now. Clear that servers are loaded up trying to download a bunch as my speed is fluctuating between 2mbps and 150mbps all the time.
Pro tip - tell your boss that you have food poisoning from panda express. There will be no follow up questions and you'll be allowed to go home.
I have to wait till two my time(central) to download unfortunately. Thought about leaving early but have to save eto for the future(I've got four kids and they sick randomly)
The queue system must be broken. It’s the worst I’ve ever seen in a game. Me and my buddy waited 19 minutes to queue.
You get 1 respawn by fighting in Gulag if you win the fight and you can get another by a teammate paying for it. To be clear its not real money, you get cash in game by killing people/doing things.
Somewhere in the middle. There's parts of realism but they are very forgiving with the Gulag and how "easy" it is to get revived. It's kind of a great mix just because super campy BRs suck. You can push in the beginning knowing there's a decent chance you'll get back into the mix. They did a great job of adding in things like contracts to get money and adding objectives during the game instead of just hunting. Killstreaks are awesome but not overpowered. Loadout crates (crates that allow you to pick one of your custom loadouts in their entirity) are often present and powerful....but not overpowered...and not easy enough to get that its overwhelming. Health system works really well (normal MP health + 3 armour plate spots). Feels like they REALLY put money and time and effort in nothing being overpowered but everything being great. Overall, it feels more like Blackout because COD though. This BR is gonna last a LONG time.
Tacos my boy but agree to disagree. It’s a 5.5/10 for me. Love seeing excitement for a BR though. Hope people enjoy it.
I hooked my 360 back up about a week-and-a half ago. I think it's been an enjoyable experience rekindiling my memories of playing ncca football. Man that game is so fun. Passing a kidney stone while I piss on my computer chair right now. This bih hurt pretty bad.
Didn't get to play yesterday but did talk with some and they seem to like it. I did play the tutorial(or whatever that shit was at the beginning while it downloads) and the guns and mechanics seemed onpoint. Not sure about sniping yet.. I'm guess having a long range and mid to short range load out is optimal?
My go-to custom loadout is a Kar98 w/ Hybrid 4x scope + MP7 (50 round mag). Also been messing around with a silenced M4 w/hybrid + 50 round mag so I can rock ghost and stay invisible late game. Big magazine size is a huge deal because of taking out armor.
Really liking warzone. Haven't played with my regular crew yet(just my dumbass brother inlaw), so NO wins yet sadly. Haven't found a good set-up just yet though Edit. What I don't like is the way you come in via parachute. Seems so damn slow and it takes forever to go anywhere. Seems like most just almost dive straight down. Sucks because you don't have any real time to do anything if you head away from the plane.
6 wins so far. I always go far away from the plane. 1. Go far away 2. Complete contracts 3. Pool money to buy custom load-outs 4. ??? 5. Profit.
what's the trick to getting far away? Use the shoot and then cut shoot, use the shoot and then cut the shoot. Again, cut the shoot and then use the parachute one more time?
A few of my friends who are going to be at home for the next couple weeks to buy the $160 One S off Amazon. What cheap games would you recommend to people who are wanting to amass a game library but not have to spend an additional $400-$500? I recommended Warzone, Rocket League, GTA V, Super Mega Baseball 2, Halo: Master Chief Collection, Fortnight, Apex: Legends.
My friends doing the same. So made a quick list of non shooter type games that can be fun at different levels of skill and hopefully cheap: Jackbox party pack 6 Rocket league Untitled Goose Game Overcooked 2 We Were Here Friday the 13th Jurassic Park South Park Outer Wilds Gang Beasts/Human Fall Flat Afterparty Harder non shooters: Inside Cuphead Ori Slay the Spire Jedi Fallen Order (has a “movie mode”)
Lots of good free games.... SMITE and World of Warships as well. Additionally, a lot of the games you named are free on gamepass, so if they just purchase that, they will have a nice library of options.
