So I won a xbone with extra controller, madden 19, new nba game, and forza. My xbone seems to be working just fine so I’m torn if I should keep it in case mine has issues or sell it all. I really don’t play those games as I don’t have time to game much. What would be a reasonable selling price for all that?

Yup, its down. We've collectively decided that the people who run Xbox/Microsoft (and all gaming platforms) are "essential" personnel correct? I mean, we should probably re-do this picture right and put the gaming technicians/IT at the top
ah okay the motor sports series I was going to say, if it was the Horizon series then there’s few better games to fire up and play after a long day and pouring a drink to relax
It’s frenetic. I’m actually a bit relieved when they give you time to breathe between battles with some solid puzzle platforming.
Taco Sa1ad I see you playing some RL lately. I know it's been a while but I'll join you when you have space.
Was really looking forward to playing Dishonored 2. First one was great and the sequel got great reviews. I booted it up today and the "input lag" is unbearable. It put in quotations because its apparently not the problem but more with the game. Did a quick search online and apparently you used to be able to turn down "friction" to make it better....but for whatever reason, that option is removed from the game. I guess its just an overall responsiveness? Not totally sure. It's basically unplayable so I finished the first mission and uninstalled. Sad Taco.
I am hoping this is where I can ask a really dumb question, if not, please point me in the right direction-- I have never played online gaming because I am an unfriendly man who fears change in my gaming systems. However, if I wanted to start potentially playing online, what is it that I have to do? As I understand it, I have to sign up for Xbox Live, which has a monthly or yearly cost, right? So is the cost so you can play online or does it provide other items as well? As a follow-up, I saw where people itt were talking about fun Xbox games to download for cheap or free or something, where is that? How is that done? Sorry for the dumb questions.
Xbox game pass is 20/ month and you can get tons of good games included with that. Definitely worth it during coronapocalypse. Xbox live (multiplayer online) is like 56 for the year or 12 a month
When you download those games, do you keep them forever or is it just for the month or two that the game is on game pass?
Gears Tactics is coming out soon....on Game Pass...I think I will definitely check it out. Looks like an XCOM spin-off in the Gears world which I am all about.
I'm really hoping Super Mega Baseball 3 comes out before the end of the month. In a recent Reddit post, the developer mentioned a potential delay.
There's also a few games every month that are free if you have Xbox Live gold. Usually pretty hit or miss on quality though
Pretty sure it won't be on gamepass. It's going to have a free demo/trial where you can play unlimited online pennant race mode games though.
Question for you guys on my controller... On the right stick when playing shooters, it seems like there is some dead zone area in the stick before it actually picks up movement. Is this common or do I need a new controller?
All games have dead zones-- most shooters let you adjust this, but some unfortunately don't. Do you mean besides these built in dead zone settings?
I thought the deadzone was in my controller. Like I can move the stick to the left or right a little bit and there is no movement, but then it will finally pick up the movement after I move it so far. Is that what you're saying there is an adjustment for?
Yep. Go to controls on the specific game and see if you can reduce the dead zone. I know Rainbow Six Siege and MW have ways to lower it. Which game are you playing?
Yeah that just sounds like dead zone. Its a setting in games, especially shooters. Many let you adjust it like fornite/apex/pub/overwatch off my head. And then there are those really special gems that don't at all, most notably modern warfare
Unless something changed in the last few days, MW doesn't have DZ settings. It's really, really annoying for us big brain master race no dead zone shooter guys.
