I saw one article saying the Skins wanted a 2nd rounder for Trent Williams. For a top OT, not sure why wouldn't do that and extend him. I feel like that's worth it. Huge need, we have the money, and we'd be paying for a player that is actually worth it at a premium position.
lol of course 30th ranked OG. On the plus side, he graded a hell of a lot better than our OGs from last year. Seems like on overpay for a guy that is pretty meh but we will see.
Worst part is I guess we are out on Glasgow who was a lot higher rated. Unless we plan to play him at C. I actually don't think the signing is awful, Flowers is ok but would have much rather had Glasgow.
welp I guess we better pray we have great evaluators who see scheme fits that others don't see. I don't really get Lawson
He has talent but a guy that was mainly a backup on a division rival comes in the be a starter for us.... not sure how that helps us leapfrog them in 2 years or so. Oh well I guess trust the evaluations. At least we aren't going nuts in FA for once?
The hope is his best football is in front of him, playing in a scheme that works better for him with a coach that’s familiar with him. $10m not breaking the bank for the position. The flowers signing on the other hand.......
Apparently a lot of the shorter term contracts is players wanting to set up for 1 more contract after new TV deals signed and cap goes way up
Waiting on van noy and who the CB is they sign Would prefer Logan Ryan than big money on jones from Dallas
best move we made today was the Texans trading DeAndre Hopkins for a running back who hasn't been good in 3 years.
Every analyst on Twitter - 'Awesome move for the Dolphins' Every analyst on TMB - 'Horrible, WTF are they doing' Never change ya'll.
I’m all for that too. Good corners on both sides of the field, and insurance in case they have to move on from X
He’ll lock down one side of the field when he’s healthy, but I wouldn’t want my team to pay him that for 5 years
Probably won’t be a bad deal He’s not going to get interceptions but people won’t throw his way often He wasn’t as good last year as 2018 but he was also coming off an offseason hip surgery and wasn’t participating until right when the season started
I don't need INTs if he's going to make opposing QBs throw away from him. With X on one side and him on the other, its the best tandem we've had since Madison and Surtain. Don't even mind the overpay considering how much cap space the fins have.
