So senator Johnson agrees that we should build the infrastructure for high speed rail and other efficient, cheaper, safer modes of public transport? What a guy.
This is another thing that seems like it should have happened a long time. In this case, not even because of the virus but because it's no longer the 1990s
Alright help me out TMB, my 20 year old daughter has been staying weekends with her BF. Today they shutdown my work for a weeks and her work for a week (mines paid, not sure about hers). I told her she needs to pick if she’s staying with her BF for a few weeks or staying with us for a few weeks. My other daughter has an autoimmune disease and my wife has had 2 different cancers (dfsp and breast). Thinking they’re higher risk and shouldn’t be put in more situations then they need to. My wife is working limited hours but that’s probably going to stop at some point soon as well. Is it too much to ask her to stay one place or the other or is this the right call?
one of my friends flew today and said he was the only one on his flight that has to be a surreal feeling
id tell her to keep her ass at her bfs house... putting your other family in danger for her preferences??? Nah bro... you are being lenient in letting her choose imo...
I find it ironic... the baby boomers generation and older have been fucking over the millennials for pretty much their entire life. Now the millennials could really fuck them up by just not giving a shit about this...
will she be okay at her bf's place? If so, keep her there. Until they breakup, at which point you get her a hotel or some shit.
There's so many small towns (some literally a few blocks big) that entire Pinellas county coast. Do they really need county/state to do it? Couldn't Indian rocks or Indian shores etc close it themselves
I’m not sure if they’re official so I haven’t met him, he’s got a good job as an engineer at a local factory. They’re still in the “taking it slow” stage but she’s spent the last 3 weekends there. Maybe hotel is the way to go...
Nice. How close upcoming was your flight and did you get the trip insurance (directly from Allianz or through Delta?), or are they just not caring about that and being forgiving? I very much appreciate all this info, sir.
there just aren’t any tests. the article says they are going to use the tests in areas without transmission to try and stop community spread they are a legitimately good company
Wife work has an employee being quarantined and about to get tested. The employee came to work with a low grade fever and malaise. The employee mother who she had been in contact with is sick and awaiting her results for coronavirus. My wife may be quarantined now.
On a standard fare? Asking for myself. Had tickets for the Euro, flying to London on Delta and I'm afraid to get stuck with a worthless ticket.
So I used to be the President of my local soccer club and I am currently the VP of Travel and a team manager for my sons team. At my encouragement I had our Director of Coaching send out an email inviting all of the older travel kids 12-18 to a ZOOM meeting training session. They had 67 kids on video chat. Pretty impressed, because there was literally 4 hours notice.
Flight was April 17. I have travel insurance through Seven Corners, but I decided to try my luck directly with Delta. Hotel is a different story. Will probably need to try my luck on a claim there.
The virus is very contagious and your other daughter and wife are at heightened risk due to pre-existing illnesses.
