yep. I don’t have much choice during the day because my work is insane now(happy to be employed though), but I’m already planning lots of outside activities in the early evening and weekend. JuSt family walks, etc. not taking them to large public places

Was told my work would be closed when the government “physically” makes them. I went off on my manager about how this isn’t being taken serious and lives, including my high risk wife and unborn child, are being laughed about. I was told I could take my pto and then stay home if I choose but work from home from my group would never be an option. So I have to keep trying to either get fired or wait to get laid off.

On a plus note, I have this thing on my knee that’s gotten worse and could be staph so I may end up having to go to the dr (virtually or going to the on-site nurse tomorrow at work) and may finally get to quarantine myself. #blessed

My dad is a foreman for a large water treatment plant. They are assembling teams to work two weeks at a time. Nobody in, nobody out. He's a year from retirement and hoping the pay is worth it.
there are legit reasons why no one takes gen z serious at this juncture. I have 2 gen z kids (younger than college at 15 and 13yo) and I had to practically scream bloody fucking murder to get them to take this shit seriously kids are dumb as fuck You dont begin to mature until you finish college in most cases.
