Played 18 in 2:20 this morning solo while playing 2 balls on a half dozen holes. If heaven is real that's what it's like
If we're talking form at the moment I'd rather have left handed Fowler. Historically, he's a great choice.
I think my next big purchase is going to be new clubs. How do y'all go about testing out clubs to determine the right ones for you and getting fitted? I'm not in NYC or Chicago or some other massive city so options are likely pretty limited.
There are Club Champion or GolfTec stores all over the country. I’ve never been to either but a lot of people seem to have good experiences at Club Champion. Are you a member at a course? Even the municipal here in my town does fittings. The biggest thing with a fitting is a quality fitter. The first guy I went to a couple years ago has really good reviews and is pretty popular but I did not enjoy my experience there and he just rubbed me the wrong way. I really enjoy learning about all the tech and different aspects that make certain clubs work better and when I’d ask he was very dismissive and didn’t really talk much at all. Since then, I’ve hit with a couple different certified pros watching and let them offer their two cents but I’ve also done a ton of research on equipment over the years and learned what would work for me through reading and then hitting. You can also take advantage of the big box stores like Golf Galaxy or PGA Tour Superstore and just tell them you want to hit all different clubs/shafts to see what you like. You could start in one of those stores to get a baseline and learn about your numbers and such before paying for a more quality fitting too so that you can feel out different people
