GOP orthodoxy is that being poor is a sign of moral failing and must therefore be met with punishment - not assistance.
Drove past Handel’s Ice Cream, the place was packed with tables full of people and the entire curb was lined with sitters shoulder to shoulder.
Researchers in the amazon rainforest are set to publish a study that the highly addictive (and highly illegal) compound, creatine monohydrate, may be the miracle cure in the fight against covid-19. Hopefully we'll be able to ease restrictions so that doctors can get the resources they need to fight this virus.
I wish I lived in an alternate timeline where I could be a excited about news like this instead of immediately thinking “well that’ll be either buried or raped for profit”
Many people are saying the cure for this virus is craft beers. I’m not saying it, but many spectacular smart people are.
Only when mixed with the appropriate amount of aquarium cleaner, which also keeps the beer glasses spotless
Thanks! I'm lucky to have some money in the bank and will be okay for awhile, but it sure sucks. Especially for the ones that have nothing saved.
I have no idea about those facilities but this was precisely how my job was operating. They were and I imagine still, operating under the idea of this is just a hoax. No efforts to protect employees or even hint at least staying 6 feet away and no large groups.
That's no hand wipes is an odd claim. There's no way they're still operating without some sort of cleaning supplies available. They're way too safety focused of a company. My company does about $1b worth of work for Amazon and they went out of their way to help us get more cleaning supplies to our team on their jobsites.
