They may be junk but I just got three third party Apple Watch bands on eBay for under $6 shipped. Seems like it was worth the chance
My brother is friends with an Apple employee and was told not to waste money on Apple bands FWIW so maybe they’ll be decent
The prices on the official Apple bands are criminal. Going to get some of the leather loops and a stainless steel link bracelet band if these turn out alright. Can get a leather loop for ~$15 and the link bracelet for ~$20
I had the sport loop for my 3 and liked it. For the 5 I just ordered I went with the gray sport loop as well. However, I usually find myself wearing the regular sport bands.
Every single time I order an Apple product I immediately start questioning whether I should have waited however many months for the latest model.
Anyone ever order a product through Apple refurbished? The 2018 iPad Pro is $699 and I’m thinking about going that route. Doesn’t seem like an improved camera that I’ll hardly ever use and slightly better chip is worth dropping an extra $300 for the new model
upon receipt of my Apple Pencil today, i have learned that apples tennessee warehouse is located on darrell waltrip drive
girlfriends 2017 macbook pro wont turn on. she updated it last night and now it wont turn on. makes a sound when you plug it in but no other signs of life. anyone had this happen to them before?
weird. I had a similar experience with my 2010 but it would make 3 prolonged "beep" sounds at me. In my case, I believe it was the RAM had popped loose and needed to be popped back in.
These third-party watch bands from some random eBay seller are nice. They are actually a little longer than what came with the watch so it makes it easier to get on or off.
This is the band I have. People ask about it all the time. https://www.monoweardesign.com/products/metal-band-clearance?variant=29210880311375
That’s nice, but I think this one I have is just as good. PUGO TOP Replacement for Apple... I’ve been back on the Apple sport band as of late but I Really like this one too. OUHENG Compatible with Apple...
So, I’m buying a new iMac and need a 2nd monitor to use with it for my job. Can someone recommend a monitor that’s compatible and doesn’t cost a fortune? Oh and what cords will I need to connect the two? Thanks!
I was able to snag this one curbside yesterday https://www.officedepot.com/a/products/9979878/Dell-22-Full-HD-LED-Monitor/ hopefully it’s available near you
Reading up about this new iPhone SE. This thing should be a kill shot to the midrange Android market. Hell, having the A13 chip is better than any chip on any flagship Android device. Considering the much longer OS update cycle, only way you’re getting a decent midrange Android device that’s an arguably better value is if you get it steeply reduced for like $100.
have had an iphone 8 for a few years, decided to upgrade. my iphone 11 arrived the same day as the SE announcement. I probably would've got the SE instead at the lower price point and smaller profile. Don't like the big phones.
thought about it, but the pre-orders don't open til Monday and who knows when it would arrive. Didn't feel like dealing with it. Rationalized the big phone with having a higher quality camera as a tradeoff vs. the SE
I've settled on getting a new MacBook air. I think I'm going to spend the hundred bucks and upgrade to the i5. Is that something I should do?
Unless you’re gaming or doing graphic design / content creation you probably won’t be able to tell the difference. I’d rather spend the money on storage. But 200 bucks to upgrade to 512GB is a rip-off
It’s barely a higher quality camera. Night mode and portrait mode on non humans is the major thing lost. If I didn’t already have an 11 Pro due to size, I would have gotten an SE all day.
so the se is basically a souped up iphone 8 right? (I say that as someone who has really liked my iphone 8, but its definitely starting to show its age)
could be a bad cable or maybe the controller on the logic board is going bad. I would start a chat with Apple support, they can usually diagnose remotely.
