is he crate trained at all? or are you worried about him getting into stuff if you just leave him out in the house?
He’s crate trained, but he’s an asshole after he’s been in there awhile. Needs his exercise, but it’s also been shitty in Ohio.
Miles is going to his forever home tomorrow. Mom and her two kids came to meet him yesterday and pulled the trigger today. They seemed nice. Rescue we were fostering him for is going to email us a list of fosters next week to see who we want to take next.
On today's edition of "whose dog is allergic to more stuff" -- I submit for your pleasure, CHLOE! Free dogs aint free, fellas.
IIRC, there was a widely accepted dog food rating/review site that was shared a couple hundred pages back. Does anybody have that link handy?
We got a picture from Miles's new family; he looks really happy in the picture. I think he's probably benefiting from having kids in the house and a yard, as opposed to two boring people in their mid-30s in an apartment.
Chloe’s symptoms really started to show up shortly after we got Moose. I would have bet money that she was allergic to him.
Tosu has not been a fan of the quarantine. Every night he goes from out back to out front (tether at each location). Seems like every hour he's scratching at the door to move spots. He usually sleeps in the chair or near our bed, but not the past few nights. He got a 6 mile run/walk as well as 20 minutes at the park today. Hopefully he chills the fuck out.
New foster, Curly. He’s pretty chill especially for a younger dog. He’s leggy and has a wirey coat, kind of like a lab/Irish wolfhound mix. If you live in or around Atlanta you should adopt him and stuff. https://petstablished.com/pets/public/596616
http://www.atlantalabrescue.com/ This is our fourth foster through them. We’ve gotten two adopted and kept one, so I figure that’s a pretty good success rate.
That's awesome, every one pulled and saved is fantastic. Are there shelters up there closing down due to the virus?
They’re limiting traffic but for the most part, a lot of them are nearly empty. The adoptions are way up.
I have to go into the office and do some end of month stuff, I’ll be the only one there, should I take Sadie with me?
ask around for allergies, it could affect some people when they come back into the office. Other than that no reason to not take your dog with you.
My boxer is showing signs of degenerative myelopathy. We have an appointment this afternoon to her checked out. Good vibes needed. Edit: Lenin do you have experience with this?
Kaiser is showing signs of it, too. From what the vet told me, they really just have to rule out other things. He doesn't appear to be in pain and still gets around pretty well for an old dog, so I'm not in a huge hurry to do a ton of diagnostic testing.
She was fine a week ago. Every day I've noticed a decrease in coordination in her hind legs and now she won't get up on the furniture without help. She is also struggling to go down the 2 steps we have that lead outside. Doesn't seem to be in pain but is definitely not her normal self
New family member moves in next Saturday. Current name leader is Bette (Bet). Sire is a Standard Poodle from Vegas named ‘Gio’ as in Bellagio. We also like ‘Etta’. mom Gio
Every time I let mine swim in the bay she stinks like Dead Sea creatures for two weeks no matter how good I bathe her On a side note our beaches are closed
