Chargers, Giants, Bills are the arguments I will hear. I think I only like the Chargers current ones better than the old ones.
those are fair. The Chargers do look better with the white helmet. Same with the Bills. The Giants is a tossup to me. Biggest upgrades if they went back to the their old looks would be: Bucs, Broncos, Eagles, Seahawks and Titans/Oilers. In some order.
imagine looking at those patriots, bucs, and broncos uniforms and being like “you know what, let’s blow this up”
The Broncos is the most egregious imo. Like, colleges looked at those in the early 2000’s and went “yeah, those are outdated.”
Sounds like Bucs are going to be something like these: but this blend of the creamsicle color scheme with the updated flag logo is pretty cool:
Anything but a version of the creamsicles is just a lost opportunity. the Brewers finally figured it out and went back to the old logo and close to the old colors. Come on Bucs.
Yeah they are in a weird position where anything is an upgrade over the current look, so even the simple super bowl era option above is an upgrade but they are still missing an opportunity to hit a home run.
My understanding is the alternate uniform will be creamsicle throwbacks starting in 2021 when the one helmet policy goes away for now the alt is an awful all pewter uniform
Yep, Arians basically spelled that out on a podcast. Their hands are tied as long as the NFL has the ridiculous 1 helmet/player rule, otherwise you're wearing pewter helmets with creamsicle unis
the uniwatch write up where they showed these from a few weeks ago said they did not see the helmets They could be changed as well
Nothing like looking to the future when you sign a mid 40s declining QB for 50 mil guaranteed and bring back uniforms you wore less than 8 years ago. With that being said, love them. Bucs had one of the best color combos before Nike fucked it up. Good to see these back although they’re a bit altered.
