I've been singing I Saw Tiger the past 2 days. Very catchy. Tiger King was awesome. Nearly everyone involved is a huge piece of shit, but there are so many unbelievable moments. Joe's eulogy had me cringing and wincing so much
This just dropped on torrance. On the heels of Woodstock, a group of teen campers are inspired to join the fight for disability civil rights. This spirited look at grassroots activism is executive produced by President Barack Obama and Michelle Obama. Crip Camp: A Disability Revolution premiers March 25th.
I listened to "Joe Exotic" podcast a few months back, so Idk if I'll watch "Tiger King" just yet. That HBO one on tigers mayyybe though? https://www.vanityfair.com/hollywood/2020/03/netflix-tiger-king-joe-exotic Vince Johnson and vocalist Danny Clinton are the real singers.
Watched season 2 finale last night just to make sure I remembered where the entire storyline was at. Starting the new season as soon as this damn Uber Eats gets here. Can't wait!
Still need to watch this show. I keep starting it but get distracted. With how thick the accents are, i need to treat it like a foreign language show
first of all im not saying this is wrong or anything But how is this hard for Americans? i see a lot of Americans saying that. English isnt my first language but i understand them just fine. Idk It confuse me.
As said above, subtitles are great. You get used to it though and won't need them after an episode or 2
Watching probably the worst acted/written film I’ve ever watched and I watched The Room. pretty little stalker is beyond awful and I can’t look away.
Yep. This past fall, I was telling some co-workers that they should checkout Parasite. They were all interested until I told them that they would have to read subtitles. They completely flipped the switch to off at that point.
I’ll watch something subtitled but I really got to be in the mood to devote all of my attention to it. I like to do shit on m my phone when I’m watch a tv show or a movie so it can be tough to get around to subtitled programming.
I see no one else mentioning Freaks in this thread. Very good movie. Totally subverts tropes, expectations, and assumptions. For those considering it, try to go into the movie as blind as possible -- other than watching the trailer or reading a brief synopsis, that is. Do NOT spoil it. Heck, I'd recommend not even watching the trailer. Completely blind would be best.
Late to the party but we started Ozarks last night and made it thru 2 episodes. Pretty good thus far.
