I ordered mine on Woot randomly enough, discounted down to $240. They've been slow to ship, finally enroute now.
I love the idea, but for what I’m using KBs for, it actually helps to have or doesn’t matter if you have a lever arm (swings, get ups, goblets.) The center of mass idea makes sense to me if you’re using these in place of dumbbells.
does this appear to be legit? I’m like 95% sure it’s fake edit: click link to view https://www.momentt.shop/products/porfit
Pretty sore after a full body, body weight+resistance band work out. About to be Tom Brady level pliable
hensleya you didn't warn me! I didn't read the inside dims when ordering. I'm an asshole. I get it. But why did they intentionally fuck up the dims making it 1.5 in tighter on each side. How do you fit fucking even tiles or mats in this piece of shit without cutting them. Now I have to either drill holes and expand the platform or cut mats. Wtf lol
I'm like wtf am I doing wrong. The site clearly says the dims. But I obv ignored reading that portion during the frenzy. I have a ton of 4x3 .5 inch. I can easily cut them up and put cdx in the middle but that's a waste of time. I didn't want to cut them I just wanted to throw them on and go. What I want to know is how the fuck they slipped the tiles inside
Fuck hadn't thought about Woot. Been looking everywhere, every day for some. For those also looking these are supposed to be back in stock 4/7 https://www.corehomefitness.com/products/core-home-fitness-adjustable-dumbbell-set Hadn't heard of them but wirecutter puts them above bowflex's: https://thewirecutter.com/reviews/the-best-adjustable-dumbbells/
Anyone have the bowflex adjustable dumbbells? I like the 2.5 increments at lower weight since my wife will be using them.
I've used the 552's and they were nice. Easy to add/drop weight and the plates always felt locked in and stable, seemed well built. Not sure what you'll be using them for but the only downside is I think they only went up to 50lbs. They have another set that goes up to like 90-100lbs but I think they're $600+ if you can find them at all. Everything seems to be back ordered until like June
I'm debating sending it back. No use for it. If I move I'd have to keep the mats with it. Just a bunch of Ls all around.
So the guy at Titan is completely baffled by this shit too. Doesn't make any sense why the inside footprint wouldn't be square. If I got the tiles with it they would send me free ones to cut up. Fuck.
My thought was to get the 552s and then supplement with a few heavier pairs which would save a ton of space vs trying to buy them all separately
At a $1 (or more) a pound you'd quickly be spending the difference and would almost certainly be better off just getting the 1090's which go up to 90lbs. Again, if you can find them.
Fuck it, gonna just stick with bodyweight bullshit until this is all over no excuse to not get in more cardio and mobility work than I’ve ever done
Pretty much impossible to find the ones that go up to 90-100lbs. I've looked off and on for several days
What I learned today doing cleans and strict presses outside, I really fucking suck at cleans. Think I can strict press more than I can clean, need to work on that big time.
If I see that YouTube commercial with that bitch on the echelon bike singing about spreading it like peanut butter jelly I'm going to snap.
Has 25lb ones and does circuit stuff with them like swings, thrusters, rows, pushups using them. It seems like you should be able to do cleans and snatches with them but turning the weight over on your hand might be a challenge.
This 405 zercher squat goal may be one of my dumber decisions 335 today then dropdowns and my arms look like I got in a fight with a bear
Ended up grabbing some dumbbell handles and a bad from titan that are supposed to ship by 4/20. Looking for Olympic weights, anyone know where to grab them? Rogue is sold out of everything it seems.
Used my power blocks today, man it felt nice to actually lift some weights. Anyone have a good dumbbell routine I can look into?
Got my 6' - 3/4 30# Titan chains - Awesome. Cheapest price around. Did 115+60 6x3 OHP Forgot to mention I grabbed a Pso-Rite while it was discounted. Looking forward to the pain.
hensleya I’m using a pretty heavy stall mat for deadlifts currently. It’s got these little mounds on the bottom seemingly to disperse the load or something. Is that enough or should it be layered?
That Sorinex rack is pricey but would be able to say I own a Sorinex. hensleya Titan Fitness is a mess communication wise. I wanted to return the platform for a refund. I put in a request via phone. Was told to put a formal req via their site to have the platform refunded - No reply email. Ok. Also put a claim in for the dinged up Plyo box. No email on a return etc. The next day FedEx shows up asking for the package. I'm like bro I didn't even get an email or number from you. So the next day I packed up the platform. Got it on the truck. No emails. No tracking. Nothing. So im like this isn't right. I call Titan. Yeah some other branch read my complaint and decided, without telling me, they'd pickup the Plyo. I'm like dude.... I put the Platform on the truck. Not the Plyo. Lololol. Conzer over there is a good guy and sorted everything out. But the system they have dealing with issues isnt ideal to say the least. How do you have a guy in the states sorting claims. And a guy in the Philippines randomly processing claims after him without verification. Wtf lol.
What’s the idea behind banded deadlift? Simply a way to add weight without buying more plates? (that you’ll never need for other lifts)
