this is what sports need to do until they come back. There are ways to interact with fans and entertain people virtually. Video games can be a major way to do that.
Believe that country already told them to fuck off Believe port Everglades is one of holland America’s biggest ports so I’m assuming that’s why they made the plan to head there Money talks, port Everglades will let them dock no matter what this cunt mayor says
Yep, more events that are unscripted, and video games can be that missing piece of unexpected excitement. Here is a great little channel where the host plays a giant game of basically hide and seek with his viewers playing GTA.
If you like being stuck on a Petri dish in the middle of the ocean with hundreds of strangers I’ve got a great vacation idea for you
Great! So I guess I will get in that damn delta flight next week and enjoy England! I heard it’s great this time of year.
"oh wow, this is a great deal! what's the worst thing that could happen?" Fuck the cruise industry for putting to sea in the middle of a pandemic. They risked the lives of their crew, their passengers / customers, the Coast Guard helping them, health care workers, and people who live in whatever town they're going to dock in (from stress on the local hospitals) for a few fucking dollars.
I want the Brady/Peyton Manning playing with Tiger/Phil rumors to be true. A Phil Mickelson/Peyton Manning pairing would be so easy to root against.
Question, how are people on a Cruise ship getting tested and results back? Is there a helicopter bringing tests and then flying them back to mainland?
They're 10 days past when they were supposed to disembark so I would assume they have been trying to appease governments to let them in by testing everyone etc.
I believe there is a graveyard of cruise ships anchored off the coast of the FL in the Bahamas waters just sitting there with all the crews still on board
they had another Holland America’s ship meet up with this one to deliver more PPE and tests I believe and deliver more crew members to help out
I mean, shit, I gotta say it's a fucking great time to do it. Put a bunch of people back to work building infrastructure to help combat the epidemic, and you got a stew going.
What does he mean by "Phase 4"? Were there supposedly already three phases of infrastructure rebuilding? Anyway, I would actually think this was a good thing if I weren't so sure it was going to turn out to be about funneling money to Trump and his rich cronies.
Yes sending lots of people to work with each other during a pandemic is definitely what we should be doing
I would think people could maintain reasonable social distancing while working on roads, bridges, dams and power grid infrastructure.
This one got me in the feels https://finance.yahoo.com/news/mete...ideo-man-autism-self-isolation-183834849.html
I'm sure also everything they touch will be constantly sanitized and people won't ever need to be working closely together or sharing rides or going into work when they didn't know they had symptoms. Or going in sick because they need the money. Or sharing bathrooms or break rooms or having meetings in job site offices
I can’t believe we are this far into this shit and the greatest organized measures we are taking are still attempts to boost the economy, this time by *checks notes*, “lets spend a bunch of money fixing roads instead of fighting the virus.”
