This is an insane secret of events. Kemp finally issues a stay-at-home order and somehow it is more relaxed than some of the cities in Georgia so it's supersedes it which means we're actually going to expose more people. He was very reluctant because he didn't want to "overstep" with his power and now the party of small government is overruling small government.
DeSantis did the same thing then the next day said counties/cities could impose stricter rules if they want
I’m interested but not sure if Theranos.... https://www.nbcnews.com/health/heal...elp-detect-your-exposure-coronavirus-n1176086
I knew Dabo would make that his public message even before Dabo did. He’s just another fake evangelical Christian that exploits the naïveté of the idiots who listen to him for profit.
so tucker wants us to believe that when they discuss economic pain they mean the working class? The people who the republicans work day and night to make sure they remain in poverty?
I’m not sure I would call him a fake, that’s just kind of the MO of southern evangelicals. They don’t like when things don’t go their way (like having to isolate or missing a football season) so they have to mentally cope with the reality OR come up with a super hero that is going to save the day and blow the virus into space tomorrow (this usually comes in the form of God, but in Dabo’s case he oddly chose American grit).
This is a bunch of horseshit. only thing that isn’t getting through are counterfeit goods and delays are based on either non fda approval or not providing appropriate paperwork.
He used to be an Insurance Salesman and the best sales tactic a coach in the southeast can use in recruiting is to play the Jesus card. I’ve always felt that it was an act, even back when Clemson sucked. I actually met Dabo’s wife a couple of months ago. She liked (or feigned to) my joke that she could divorce Dabo and they’d both still be joint top highest paid government employees in South Carolina because Muschamp doesn’t make half of what Dabo brings in.
It doesn't take long as you mentally walk through what restarting sports would look like to realize it's nearly impossible to do anytime soon. There's just no way
I hate this article. It’s misleading and attacks trump on the one good thing he did. If you want to attack the policy, attack the lack of screening at the airport which is mentioned in the article as a mere afterthought. That’s the major issue with his China ban. Did he do it for the right reasons? Likely not but it still helped. trump has fucked up so much during this crisis. When you attack the one right decision he made (which was criticized at the time by most) it comes off that you are going to disingenuously attack him no matter what. a valid way to write an article like this IMO would be to highlight how absolutely useless a China travel ban is if you aren’t going to screen the people that you are still allowing to fly in from China. You could also highlight that he was early to ban travel to China but late banning from Europe (especially the idiotic exception for the UK for like a week) and use that to emphasize a racism component. This article is what I’d expect Fox News to write about Obama.
the nfl medical person who commented yesterday made a good point. If one person getting sick would cause a mass quarantine, we aren’t at a point where we can return to sports. I still think we fast track a vaccine that we aren’t fully sure works and the government prays it does so things start up again sometime in the fall.
I mean you'd have to quarantine teams, referees, tv crews, etc and that's even without fans. Then one guy tests positive and oops an entire team can't play games for 2 weeks. I just don't see it at all
Thank goodness that all my teams are dogshit because I'm not missing sports all that much. You people that support teams that actually win things are looking pretty fucking stupid IMO.
Italy has had under 5,000 new cases for 5 days in a row now. Either they are on the back end of the curve or they are testing less.
Add the fact that using our limited testing supply on that instead of helping you know actual people shows how out of touch peoples priorities are.
Yeah. I had already mentioned I was a South Carolina fan and not a Muschamp fan. She made a remark about being fed up with Dabo so thats where the fake divorce talk comes in.
The question was assuming one was approved and ready by July - hypothetically. I expect an answer, pal. And in this very thread there has been articles talking about vaccines getting explored/created in February with a hopeful fast track of 6 months.
I said I don’t see sports starting without a vaccine, obviously if one is ready in July (it won’t be) then I would think there will be sports
Venice, the place most responsible for the spread of ideas, objects etc in history is the culprit here. Venice was China's gateway to the Western World for centuries so its pretty much a pilgrimage for Chinese tourists.
