saw an ESPN commercial the other day that featured Connor McGregor in it and was like man fuck them for using that gigantic POS to promote their "we miss sports too" commercial
I can't take it either. I've started doing this search for a couple of guys on Twitter. They give a pretty good summary. https://twitter.com/search?f=live&q=(from:atrupar OR from:ddale8) since:2020-04-01&src=typed_query
personally glad people like you do it so I don’t have to. I get peeved enough reading the updates in here. Watching in real time would drive my BP (which I already need medication to control) through the roof.
Kristin Fisher, she’s one of the only actual straight news reporters left at Fox News. Would imagine she’s fired by next month.
if a big ufc event happens without the ability to thrown on a favorite tapout t shirt and meet the bros at buffalo wild wings for some frosty coors lights and energy drink cocktails, does it really happen at all?
Rapid diagnostics tests are simply going to be a way for us to all get back to some form of normality and should be lauded. The more money going into them, the more they can come down in price.
https://www.upworthy.com/doctor-sha...DtQYXiDxVaGHq_FvOvuEXxEPMmm94ZTDMN2UXdjMLobgM Here's his simple, three-step technique. 1. Take five deep breaths in, each time holding the breath for five seconds. 2. On the sixth deep breath, take it in and do a big cough (cover your mouth, of course). 3. Do two cycles of the above and the lay flat on your front (on a bed, ideally) taking slightly deeper "normal" breaths for the next 10 minutes. "You've got to understand the majority of your lung is on your back not on your front," he adds. "So by laying on your back your closing off more of the smaller airways and this is not good during the period of infection."
People ignoring the models changing because of our actions and weren't wrong with the big multi million numbers going to make me hurt people Our societal scientific illiteracy hurts
I’m in a rural county of 4500. Guy came from a Nearby county to the nursing home. Tested positive, pretty much the county hospital is fucked cuz he was there doing PT. So yeah this is affecting us out in the sticks
Basically get ready for this: Lol you dumb libs said 500k and then almost everyone in the country was forced to change their actions including the cancellation of school and all sports and travel and cruises and theme parks and restaurants and bars and clubs and emergency PPE production was ordered and everyone started wearing masks and people started working from home and no one came within 6 feet of each other and after all that only 100k died. You guys were so wrong about that 500k. I can't believe we closed everything for only 100k deaths, what a joke that's just like a bad flu season after all. I knew this was just like the flu to start with. Trump was right. MAGA.
https://www.thebalance.com/social-secur ... de-2388927 ... Your wages are indexed to the average wages for the year you turn 60. For each year, you take the average wages of your indexing year (which is the year you turn 60) divided by average wages for the year you are indexing, and multiply your included earnings by this number. People born in 1960 turned 60 this year. Since wages are expected to be unusually low this year, that will impact the multiplier used to "inflation adjust" all their prior contributions.
It's already happening ITT and the resident Maga morons on the Auburn price board can't seem to comprehend our actions have changed the outcome
Yep, already have water heads doing that now. If morons think this whole thing was an overreaction, that means the steps taken were appropriate. It’s either going to be “herp derp, we overreacted” or “holy fuck this is a catastrophe.” Very few people are going to take the middle ground.
the best part of the current continued "virus isn't bad" thing will quickly shift to "actually the virus was very bad and trump saved us all" counter spin once that becomes Trumps preferred narrative since those two groups overlap into one perfect circle
Well this seals it. I’ve been living in a coma fever dream for the last 5 years. none of this is real and I’ll wake back up to sanity.
"they should have been thanking me the whole time for my tremendously swift action but you can't believe anything from the fake news. that's why they're called fake news, because you can't believe anything they say"
Yep. Its coming, which is good for now, but the ramifications of social distancing actually working will be costly down the road.
Keep in mind the same people telling you the virus “isnt that bad” and “is just like the flu” Are the same people telling you climate change “isnt a big deal”
If you've read about the research they're looking into using the tobacco leaf as a means for replication of the antigen like we use chicken eggs for the flu vaccine. They've done this already with ebola treatment sucessfully.
I mean I get there might be good news from NY and CA but there are still states allowing open congregation of people. You'd have to think those states are 3-4 weeks behind where NY and CA is they started tomorrow, which that won't. I understand the needs for models but how accurate can they be if 25% of the country isn't really isolating?
