All hospital admin took 20%. Managers took 15%. I am in a salaried leadership nursing position that still works at bedside, so mine was 10%. All normal hourly staff didn’t have a cut of that nature, but their hours have been reduced. Some were furloughed.
I talked to my boss. So, he can’t speak to me about anything because my stuff has ran way up the flag pole over his head. So I called hr back and they said I can speak to him about my position. So called him back and he told me about the email chain about me that has way higher ups on it telling him not to deal with my claim as it’s not his job (it isn’t). He’s a complete open book about everything. Said I have to come in tomorrow but they’ve made some changes. Will be given a mask when I arrive at the gate then he will have his boss set a respirator style mask that’s better than the n95 on my desk. Said my office mate is off work the rest of the week ( I really hope he didn’t take his planned vacation) and by Monday we would not be sharing an office. So I’m either getting fired or they’re going to leave me alone. It’s far from ideal as I could work from home but if I can get assurance as to not have any interaction that’s a step I’m willing to take.
