yeah, doubt I'll watch but I went in ready willing and able to hate and came out pleasantly surprised
According to my buddy that has no connections that I’m aware of and I did not fact check whatsoever Zach Morris and Kelly signed on but after they started filming so assuming they are in later episodes
I’d be pretty worried they’re glorified cameos. The others signed on from the start so the show may be centered on them instead of Zach.
owned by NBC, named after their logo. subscription based. basically NBC/Comcast content they think they can charge for.
It was meh outside of slater telling Kelly and Jessie’s kid that he banged their mom. But that was absolute gold.
it won't live up to those who watched the original series, but overall I enjoyed the trailer... new generation and new shit to tackle. Slater telling them he fucked their mom is gold
He is also in the ABC show Mixed-ish so he has other obligations unlike Lopez who is a glorified tabloid host and Berkley who is a nobody
Zach Morris is the mayor of the town or governor of California. he's appearing in a limited role recurring throughout the series. Mario Lopez is the only one who I think is a contracted series regular
Trailer didn’t do it for me until the last five seconds where Slater said he banged the two guys moms.
Some of the Peacock content is free, but it just started this week so not sure what will / won’t be behind the paywall.
Never watched an episode? No fucking way that’s true. Sounds like a publicity stunt, but fuck it I’m in.
I heard him talk about it on another podcast back 5 years ago. Remember because I was driving to Rutgers for OSU’s first away trip there. Host was a huge SBTB fan and tried to talk about specific old episodes and he was nice about it but was adamant that he just wasn’t interested in watching Unless he was planning to do a podcast 5 years down the road watching it then I don’t believe it’s a publicity stunt
I think he said he hasn’t watched an episode since his last, so he watched some of them during the era. Either way, I think it makes sense. He was over it. He has never stopped working.
stealing on the backs of other people who are willing to pay for the content they like is nothing to be proud of.
There are two separate pairs of Sopranos actors that are podcasting their first viewings of the series as well. Actors avoiding their own work is pretty common.
I can understand him never watching an episode. It's probably hard for people to watch themselves and not be overly critical and insecure. I know I'd have a hard time doing it. Hate even watching home movies from my life. Take that but make it a profession where you're judged as a good or bad actor and nah it's a hard pass for me Unrelated thought but I wonder the percentage of pornstars that watch their own films
