I’m going to get to it probably over Christmas break. Got a backlog I need to get through Shadow of War AC: Origins COD: WWII
Great game. i have no idea what I'm doing but it's terrific. I can't get over the visuals and the details of the robots.
just got a PS4 Pro and the game is even more beautiful. makes a great game better. makes me wish i had a HDR10 tv tho. the DLC is very good. some challenging stuff.
I think I am a level 12. But this is the first game of the scale that I have attempted. I’m not very familiar with the side missions, errands, and all the other rigmarole that I need to do it to build up abilities.
It may be the sync with my tv, but the only real problem I have is the mouths being out of sync with the words being spoke. Also some campy dialogue, but I don’t mind that. Just getting into the real meat of the story last night and damn it’s some good storytelling
Oh the voice over work is silly but the story and all the collectables that add to the story it was one of the best of 2017
I’m a lore guy when it comes to stuff like this. So 2 or 2 of the hours I’ve put into it is purely watching or reading datapoints I find
So a year and a half later, I finally finished the game. Loved it, can't wait to collect everything, play the DLC, then move on to NG+. Such an amazing game world.
I like DLC's that progress the story of the character, that aren't essentially just more fleshed out side quests.
Wow, I just picked this up two days ago since it was only $12.00 in the sale their currently having. This is the best game I've played on PS4 so far.
Started playing it but my excitement was tempered when I learned the DLC didn't take place post main story line.
Started this game. I should have played it sooner. I just finished the Faro Tower quest. I'm level 32 or so. I've found all of the ancient cups. I have 6 or so metal flowers left and 2 of the statues. Just turned in everything I have so far and got a bunch of green level mods. Seems like collecting them is a waste of time outside of completeness. I've got multiple sets of shadow gear each with mods for a different damage type and just switch them throughout a battle based on what I'm facing. Seems to be working pretty well. I need two more power cores for the ancient armor.
Not to hijack, but give me some of y’alls underrated games on PS4? I still have yet to play God of War for some reason
I think a lot of the indie games are underrated. I'm playing Guacamelee 2 right now, hilarious writing, a great Metroidvania, combat feels great, and perfect couch co-op. Stikbold is a fun game that no one talks about. Little Nightmares was amazing, great atmosphere and puzzle design. Thomas Was Alone is fantastic too, highly worth the little bit of money it costs.
Watching Hoss play via game share. He has no idea what he’s doing yet. It’s like watching a baby take its first steps
- me hopping on and seeing Hoss playing and requesting to game share - me realizing that he’s probably set the controller down and doing something else
It’s true. I’m playing now. Loving the game. Reminds me of God of War just without the badass fighting. It’s a good game and I’ll finish the storyline before I jump back on my GoD plus game
Update: Have started God of War. First time ever playing any of them out of the series. Was not expecting the full on hack and slash, but it’s nicely done. I’m about 8% in? Just boating around from dock to dock currently and knocking out some side quests. Anything y’all can recommend on what to do or not to do?
