right now what else are you doing? Have you ever had CFA? I also feel like 45 minute wait was hyperbole

 

This is a good point. These days I put the whole family in the car to do menial tasks.

 

I wish their app would have told me the wait would have been 45 minutes, and I thought it was already paid for,. Plus, once the mind needs CFA, and its within reach, you would cross canyons to get it, especially when the kids want those nuggets.

So the deal was Bad storms came through the night before, and power was lost to the CFA, so they were well behind from the start, and it was about 1 pm when I got there.

Space is limited in the area, as its in front of a Lowes on a busy street, so its never going to be one of those upgraded version with double drive thru lines. They loop cars through the smallish lots to a single lane drive thru, which can take 25 minutes on a normal covid day. There are entrances from 2 roads to the place, and cars just kept on stacking up behind me, and at the other side. Never seen anything like it. 45 fucking minutes

Nearby cfa changed opening from 9a to 8a

 

The last couple times I got CFA the owner was the one doing all of the curbside deliveries.

 

What do they do between 8am and 9am where they need to close?

 

They live a life of service.

 

Operators wife has taken order at mine for a couple years now.

The chick fil a in the local mall food court has turned the mall parking lot into a drive thru

All the workers were zooming around on scooters with baskets on the front of them



also are handing out hand wipes from purell that say compliments of chick fil a

Honey Roasted BBQ is great. You guys are missing out.

 

I always apply the honey roasted bbq sauce to my grilled chicken sandwich because it comes with it, but never thought to request it for other orders.

 

I definitely put mayo on the sandwich.

Also on the fries if you guys don't tell anybody

 

What are your sauce application methods?
Sauces get dipped, always. For sandwiches mayo and anything else from a packet gets squeezed on per bite.

 

Mayo on my Spicy Deluxe

CFA to dip nuggets, strips and fries (sub in Poly when the mood strikes)

Toss my grilled nuggets with Buffalo

That's too much work. Apply pack to sandwich before consumption is commenced, then go to town

 

The efficiency that Chick-fil-A operates at is just insane. 25+ cars in the drive thru, 3 lanes of ordering, and it was all running smooth. Took less than 10 minutes. Just a well-oiled machine.

 

Will probably grab CFA for lunch today. That is all
