putting a mountain behind this bad boy as soon as i can to make it look like it’s attached to the mountain then contemplating what the fuck i’m gonna do on my hands
Was a srs question as I can’t imagine anything more trashy than getting a neck tattoo. Posts in the politics thread make sense now
So I’ve been thinking of doing a 3/4 sleeve on my left arm for a long time. My kids first initials are CAT so I want the centerpiece if you will to be a lion. Came across this pic of silver eye which is a female pride leader and apparently an absolute bad ass lioness. I think this may be the one.
Tattoo artist won’t do an all day session to finish my half sleeve. Don’t know why.. Should I be annoyed or not let it get to me?
I want to get my throat done. I understand the ramifications that go along. I also understand why (my mental health issues). My wife doesn’t want me to get it done. She forgave my sides but I don’t want to push it. I need to be takes down.
I’d be annoyed, 5 hours is just large tattoo. My guy said the most he will do is 8-9 and that’s with a decent lunch break in there.
I drive 35 minutes to my tattoo artist. An hour in he told me his back was hurting and he wanted to stop. I told him I didn’t drive 35 minutes for an hour worth of work he could do an hour more. Went in Saturday and asked if he could do an all day session and he said he couldn’t.
This, I understand back pain but he just sounds lazy at this point. I wouldn’t tip very well at this point.
Mark Johnson @jeezytattoos IG charges 1,500 per day to tattoo.. is that too much? Works from 12:30-9:00
Depending on how good it's not really that high. Also, how many breaks does he take in those 8.5 hours? That could really push the per hour rate up
Said he takes breaks but nothing serious. Would want to do 1,000 a day for 3 days in a row or 1,500 for two days.
I don’t know if you have tattoos and have done this before but that’s generally not how it works. You’ll have one long session and your body will need to recover for a couple weeks. I guess if you’re working on different body parts it might be doable but I’d hate to sit for 2 eight hour sessions back to back.
I had a couple hour session maybe a week after a 8hr day to finish up some shading and details. It was nearly unbearable. By far the worst session I've ever done. Shading and detail on already raw/healing skin was just brutal
I usually wait 2-3 weeks. Fuck back to back. If he is doing one arm and a leg or the other arm the next day I could see it. It would still suck but yeah it could be done. But, I doubt the artist would want to do back to back on the same body part.
