Cool. Probably pick some up for general bug prevention.

I use Terro bait stations outside and they clear up pretty fast, then spray ortho inside

So I was reading and they apparently love dog food. We had set up our dog's bowl near the door so I'm 100% sure they smelled that shit and came in.

Once I picked up the bowl, I haven't seen a single one come into the house.. So, it isn't the solution but it's a temporary fix. I'll get some ortho and spray the house, which is needed anyways for various bugs. Then I'll try to get some of that ant killer for the tree they're living on and get out the hive.

Every time I spray the perimeter of the house with pesticides, I'm always amazed at the # of dead bugs I find near the house the next few days
    And I spray 3 to 4 times a year

I pay $32 for quarterly visit. Will also come out no charge in between if we see any new bugs/ant piles/etc.

I think it's cheaper to pay for pest control. Get the house bonded and let them come out quarterly.

I think that's what I am going to do

This is what I use, and it works great. I have shared this tons of times. Its a concentrate so I think 2 fl oz goes in the gallon sprayer. So I think the bottle makes like 96 gallons of spray. It has worked great so far, I rarely see many insects indoors. Works outside as well and kills almost everything.

That calculates out to 2" thick of rubber mulch, which I'd imagine you'd want 2-3 inches, so yeah to me that number makes sense.

Not home maintenance but when we moved last year we left the trampoline behind and I promised my daughter we'd get one by this summer. Fucking sold out everywhere. Had looked forward to drinking a bunch of beer late one night while putting it together and being a hero next morning

so update here. This is actually above the spot you’re talking about but same line. Guy came out and he thinks this is where it’s coming from. Pulled off the siding where there was a hole/gap and then also he said this flashing wasn’t holding up. Hopefully that’s the issue

Just had a new cedar fence installed. I know staining it will help keep it looking good longer but is the juice worth the squeeze?

Yup. Massive amounts of liability with trampolines.
just be prepared to get that same response from your insurance carrier if a neighbor kid breaks an arm on your trampoline and the family sues you.

Just got it in September. Tried this gel stuff from academy that was supposed to be better than water/sand/etc., don't know if it would have mattered though. But also didn't see anything else in neighborhood that got got

Big spender for the cedar. I thought you didn't need to stain cedar, that's the point of the extra cost?

Im looking to stain my new pine fence. It'll be about 1/7th of the total cost. Doesn't seem hard. Ppl but hand pump sprayers to get it doen

it's a two man job but not hard. just need a post digger and a couple of bags of concrete mix. it looks a lot nicer than that big ass base those goals come with.

You’re right that staining cedar isn’t a requirement since it’s naturally rot resistant. Staining will help protect the color and is purely cosmetic- at least per my understanding.
