This guy doesn’t give a shit about young people and missed opportunities. He just wants a season and to keep the college money machine going
CofC doesn’t use athletics as a major revenue generator. They have annual athletics revenues around $16m. Compare that to South Carolina and Clemson who have annual athletics revenues well over $100m. CofC has a liberal arts tradition which is at odds with a big sports mind. This tweet will not go over well on campus.
The total corona deaths in US for people 24 and under is around 80 people. That equates to less than 1 death per million of that population sector.
Do you know the long term effects of the virus? what about how many young people have contracted the disease and passed it along to others? And those consequences?
Glad to see Bundesliga and UFC have some success with their comebacks. Plans seem reasonable and feasible.
Just getting caught up on the topic. Lebron has had a bad 12 months. China, making fun of Latino/a culture, tone deaf on COVID-19 multiple times...
what were his tone deaf comments? I’ve only seen him say that he doesn’t like the Vegas idea cause he doesn’t want to be separated from his wife and kids.

ROCKPORTRAIDER If you're breathing, you're not dead! BRO Ok, but what if you have no lung capacity to exert yourselves up the stairs? How would you expect them to play sports? ROCKPORTRAIDER Well, that's not my point. Do your own research!
Watching live bull riding on CBS sports. Seems like they are taking it pretty seriously. I think there's a way for some sports to get back soon. Golf, tennis, maybe soccer, imo, are much easier than something like football.
Our athletic department had finally found a vaccine that cured our championships deficiency and once he took over, he caused our winning anemia to return with his loser anti vax coaching.
Bowls seem like the likeliest first casualty of the CFB season. They're mostly irrelevant and they're scheduled to happen at a time when we'd expect an increase in influenza like illnesses.
I don't know. That level of postseason play that you guys find yourself in, really doesn't pertain to us.
ND announced the same schedule today. that seems like it may become the consensus for academic calendars for the fall. it at least leaves open the possibility of football
