Obviously you’d be an idiot not to know the future belongs to Mack Brown, but after beating teams by stopping late 2 pt conversions we typically kick their ass the next time we play. Kind of a worlds colliding type deal.
BlueSam busy preparing a 12,000 word response. Posted on 5 hrs, V I P, User Since 86 months ago, User Post Count: 0 5 hrsVIP 86 months He just did an Instagram live video at 4pm. He mentioned two things that were interesting. - ‘Michigan stopped recruiting me. They don’t want me no more’ - ‘Donovan Edwards isn’t going to Michigan. That’s for sure. I’ll leave it at that’ We stopped recruiting you? Give me a break. When you’re not reciprocating our interest then of course we’re just eventually going to move on. Go win 3-5 games a year in EL And in regards to Edwards, not sure if he knows something or if he was just talking out of his ****. But that was definitely interesting. Hope it’s not true.
BoinErie said... (original post) It's being reported on other boards that Michigan never cut off communication with Buddin. Insider was saying that he is still a take for Michigan right now. Personally, if I am Michigan, I would steer clear of this kid. They might be doing that right now. Seems to be a great amount of entitlement and childish behavior. You do not want that in your locker room. You can find talent at a higher level of maturity. BlueSam It is being reported on this board that he was contacted earlier this week, given a window to commit (24 or 48 hours), and told that Michigan would move on if he chose not to commit. He chose not to commit, so Michigan moved on. That is what happened. Any report suggesting otherwise is wrong, so please don't share those other reports here.
Not sure? I know he’s high on our board but this thread and our team thread are virtually my sole sources of recruiting info these days.
I tend to believe Webb in this particular case. Don't think it really has much to do with Buddin, either. Buddin goes to Belleville. UM has an awful relationship with Belleville's coach, and Webb seems to believe UM is basically going to stop recruiting the school entirely because the relationship is so bad they think it's a waste of time. I don't think that's necessarily a rosy or optimistic thing from Michigan's side, considering Belleville is the HS recruiting power in the Detroit area and gets the kids who used to end up at Cass and King. It's kind of disastrous that UM is in desperate need for DTs, has a 5 star DT in its back yard whose dad is allegedly a UM fan, and they're not even in consideration because of whatever relationship issues they have with the school.
Maybe I’m just not used to recruiting battles with them or seeing their content, but the 247 OU insiders seem like morons that have never followed recruiting before.
Might want to check Bill Connelly’s numbers. Our offense was garbage last year with an OC in his first year with us who was promptly replaced. And it still finished ahead of Auburn. The year before we were 3rd. Year before that, 7th. Taking up for Auburn’s offense just to argue with Euro is bad and you should feel bad.
The Ohio State guys have been in their feelings since I said before this class that Day was nothing but an average recruiter. They continue to be very upset about it.
Auburn was 28th in scoring offense. Georgia was 50th. I don't care what your favorite podcast says about Georgia.
