PWI is reporting Gulak is done with WWE. His deal expired last night after SD ended and they couldn’t come to terms on a new deal.
I think I recall some silly story about Cody not liking him. Someone texting him every time Gulak was on tv or something. That said, sounds more like him and WWE were still trying to work something out, the contract just expired. We will see.
“You can’t always be on top of the wrestling business in a $1 million a year spot or more, but you can [have a baby] — what is she? Can she be 30? [Lynch is 33] Well, still she’s got many more years before the f*cking Easy Bake Oven gets shut off. She can have all those problems like a descended stomach and stretch marks and hemorrhoids and hormones problems and mood swings and all those other joys of motherhood later on WHEN SHE AIN’T MAKING A MILLION DOLLARS A YEAR!!!” “She’s got plenty of time left. What would you do if your wife came home and said instead of making a million dollars next year I’m gonna basically just be a raging bitch for the next nine months and then give you more sh*t to worry about around the house?!” full video...
Damn, this was a hard read. I would say at best they find his body, crappy situation, especially for the son he saved in the process. https://411mania.com/wrestling/shad-gaspard-missing-after-getting-caught-in-rip-tide-at-the-beach/
Damn, that's terrible. I'm a pretty good swimmer and I won't even go past waist deep at the beach anymore because of stories like these that seem to always come out in the spring/summer months.
Was really wondering why Larry Csonka was being posted in the wrestling thread to what I now realize is a different Larry Csonka.
Also I would like to request that Alexa and Nikki vs the iconics be less of a match and more of, how to say, a 4 way make out session please. Give the fans what they want vince
That sucks. Would always read his reviews on my lunch break the day after PPVs and TV shows. Feel for his family.
I dont watch these shows anymore but look at recaps so I can kind of know whats going on in case I want to check in on a PPV. So Charlotte is the NXT women's champion, yet has appeared on both Raw and SD these past few weeks. I remember someone trying to sell her winning the RR and then winning NXT title was good because it would keep her off main network for a while and elevate NXT. I haven't seen the ratings but I would guess her appearance on the show has not helped and now she is just being exposed more and winning everything. She is way worse than Roman
https://www.cbssports.com/wwe/news/...e-healed-though-her-distaste-for-wwe-has-not/ Specifically, this from McDevitt "The reality is, we've never told our side of the story of what happened -- at least not outside of court. We told it in court, but when she talks about the way the lawsuit unfolded over the years, it really isn't accurate what she's saying. What she did whenever this happened is, she hired a lawyer in Kansas City who we caught essentially trying to fix the judicial selection process to get a judge that was more to their liking. We caught them and went all the way to the Missouri Supreme Court. The Missouri Supreme Court said, 'No, no, no. We're not going to let that happen.' They essentially appointed an independent judge to come in from outside of Kansas City to oversee the proceedings. We were basically trying to find out what happened that night. Martha was not even remotely interested in finding out what happened that night; she just wanted to used it as a vehicle to beat up a business that she didn't like that her husband was in, the wrestling business."
Like AEW WWE is working with a limited roster for these shows. Its really hard to shit on WWE for having people on multiple shows. Some of these Jobears have been on all three episodes of WWE product in the same week as well. For fuck sakes we had to watch CT Marshall wrestle on AEW for weeks.
Just finished the Owen doc on Vice. Wasn’t really sure what I was expecting but I finished kinda shocked all these years later. Some of the police photos and some video just is chilling.
I want to say it wasn’t as “bad” as I expected it to be. I think with only 40 minutes to tell the story that they rushed through his story. They really packed it with his family life and told more of that story vs his wrestling career.
I’m curious what they do for season 3. I would love episodes on Dynamite Kid, Pillman and going off the reservation a bit, XPW.
Last few weeks, I've just started rewatching his matches with Bret and teaming with Bulldog and Yoko. My 2cents is he should've never been The Blazer again to be much less 100ft up risking his life. The whole nugget thing, they played him ya know funny or not
They have hit a bunch of more popular topics early on the series it will be interesting to see what major topics they choose to use moving forward. I saw somewhere they are pulling great numbers for a Vice show. Season 2 has been much better then the previous one.
