String Cheese is doing a free live stream of a show from 2014. Figured I would save $10 and watch that instead of paying for the biscuits stream
I had cheese on for the first 30 minutes or so though because they pushed back the start of the stream.
Got some Brouwerji West stuff in my fridge and might go there next. Love them and the small liquor store that sells their singles two blocks from me.
CTownND next time Casa has release order $45 worth of beer for free shipping. If you hate it arrange with me a pickup and I’ll buy it off you.
I'm sure I'll love it, but deal. Please tag or DM me when the next release happens if it looks like I don't see it and I'll definitely order.
I hate everyone who gets Casa because it's not me. I need to get my buddy in LA to go pick me up some sometime.
You can have it shipped to his house, free shipping with orders over $45. See if you can buy a whale pod at checkout and then he can use that to ship to you.
Hate fingering the merchandise in the store during covid but gotta check those dates on anything hoppy. Makes such a difference. Drinking a Coast Hop Art right now that was canned 2 weeks ago
I remember when I was just blossoming into a beer snob and Zack Zedalis said "I can't wait until you won't drink anything that's a month old" My guy is so wise but he's also 400 years old so he should be
Yeah but how many Cascadian dark ales have you drank in your life? Spoiler honestly though does anyone brew a Black IPA anymore?
What do most people have as "inventory on hand" in terms of good beer? Do you just get what you're going to drink in the next ~2-3 weeks or stock up for a while? Asking because I made a pretty decent order from a liquor store (5 500 MLs, 4 4-packs, 1 6-pack) and my buddy who is super into craft beer said it's way too big of an order to make if I'm not going to get through that stuff in a couple weeks.
As good as Turning Point is, Celestial is pretty clearly the top dog in DFW for all IPAs and sours. Everything they brew is nothing short of great. Turning Point might still have them on stouts, but it’s close. They brew a lot more of them than celestial does
Finally got through and got 4 Monkish 4-packs today before they sold out in a minute like always, including two from their collaboration with Other Half. Guess I gotta drive to Torrance this afternoon hah https://monkishbrewing.square.site/
Dude. Fucking no one. Fairhope used to have one as one of their first 5 launch beers and then turned it occasional. I think the last one I had was a crowler my dad picked up a year or so ago from a place in Mexico.
Oh man my buddy and his dad got 6 bottles with several variants of this. We popped a couple on his bachelor party. For as much as Scofflaw are a bunch of hardos, those were some damn good stouts.
also local place is sending beer to Texas, Fair State Brewing. Spirit Foul is fantastic if you come across it texas bros.
This sounds about right. They were really popular when I got into craft beer which was right around then.
I picked up 4 crowlers today at a local place and they had a black ipa on. Wish I saw this talk earlier and would have got it.
