Are the Old Fitzgeralds worth the hype? Someone on secondary is selling 2 oz. samples of the 9, 11, 13, 14, 15, and 16 for $180, so $30 for a 2 oz. pour of each. Since I doubt I’ll ever run across any of these at retail & wouldn’t pay secondary for something I haven’t tried, I’m thinking about pulling the trigger on them.
MSRP is $10/yr aged so the lowest you'd see is 150, but not many places are going to have it at that price point.
Picked up a bottle of Elijah Craig single barrel on a whim. I really enjoyed it as an everyday sipper.
Larceny BP is quickly becoming my new favorite daily sipper. Which sucks because everyone seems to be snatching it up from the shelves now.
$49.99 at my store, which isn't bad for barrel proofs. Less than ECBP and MM Cask Strength and its way better than MM in my opinion.
Interested to see how this one fits in the Weller lineup and how much they put out. It would be nice if it doesn't shoot up to a ridiculous price point like every one other than the SR.
That's cool, I just found A120 last week. I was concerned it was going to be the first release I didn't like from the lineup. The first night it was just too hot and over powering. Came back a few days later and it was very nice. Definitely a must grab imo.
Agreed on LBP A120, sad that I’ve only got one bottle left. Just reminds me that I’ve still got to grab an ECBP C919 and A120 before these next releases hit.
I just saw in the description that it is another 'limited' release. Why can't BT release another one that's a step up (like this or OWA) for year round distribution like SR? Is that too much to ask?
Disagree they could release it at mass production at $80 a bottle and make a killing. Instead the middle men will make all the money on this like normal
Mr. Tamland, you've won a lottery purchase opportunity. You're purchase opportunity today is "Weller Special Reserve," at a retail price of $24.
