Not the same but Whiskey Myers is doing a live show tonight from 7 to 8 central. Supposed to be able to watch it on FB, YouTube and Insta.
Yea a lot of them have been really enjoyable. I really like WM too. They put on an amazing live show in Knoxville last year.
Wade Bowen has been doing "Wades World" every Friday with a guest (another red dirt country artist) and its been very good
I really enjoyed these Yeti series videos. Would love one featuring Sturgill and/or TC. Wasn't sure where else to post them so here y'all go:
Starts around 5:30. First half of his 3/1/15 show at 3rd and Lindsley. The whole show use to be on Panicstream. I have the 2/28/15 show. Trying to figure out how to upload it. https://m.soundcloud.com/lightning100/nashville-sunday-night-sturgill-simpson-3115
popped my cherry at this show. dead center two off the rail that become one off the rail halfway through. he took a drink water from a bottle then threw the rest in the crowd. it hit me perfect all the way down*. ive posted all this shit before. idgaf. some article: Enough time has passed since Bonnaroo attendees were traveling down Interstate 24, some of them probably don't even feel like they're in Tennessee anymore. On Saturday, Sturgill Simpson was their reminder. His holler echoed for acres across the field as he and his band bashed out a ferocious set of no-nonsense country. Twangy sounds have seemed like more of a rarity at this year's Bonnaroo, and the fans gathered under That Tent were eager to stomp along to tunes from the Nashville artist's breakthrough 2014 album, "Metamodern Sounds in Country Music." That album led to a snowballing year of award wins, TV appearances and breathless reviews. He was picking up steam during his Bonnaroo performance too – the roars grew noticeably louder through each number, including fan favorite "Living the Dream." But not everyone was sticking around long enough to be converted - and Simpson didn't like that. He had a harsh word for the people who walked past his stage. "Give it up one time for all of the (expletive) out there walking around that ain't here with us. Because they should be." "This is a beautiful thing," he continued. "It's either a beautiful thing, or we're a bunch of stupid-ass people for being out here in this heat. But this is a beautiful thing." Their rowdy rockers were a thrill, but the crowd cheered in recognition for a more contemplative tune: "Turtles All the Way Down." "Marijuana, LSD, psilocybin and DMT, they all changed the way I see," Simpson sang. "But love's the only thing that ever saved my life." After slowing things down, he and he band saved one of their most blistering songs for last. "Let's burn this (expletive) tent down," he said as they launched into "Listening to the Rain."
What poster sold out in 12 hours? I guess I'm going to have to sign up for the gram as I tell myself to cut down on screen time. Edit: I'm guessing this one since the product is not longer available and the image isn't on the website anymore. Only Google image ads $100. Not upset if that's the case
That is true. So what did that post say before he deleted everything? Want to make sure i don't miss a livestream.
He just mentioned how he raised x-amount of money with no help from music media publications and that now he has to prepare for a proper live show and a new album.
That’s a bluegrass version of Sitting Here Without You playing in the video. Wonder if it’s going to be all previously recorded songs or if it’ll include unreleased ones
Yea but he could have had breakfast with Sturgill and me yesterday I see him almost every other week.
That's why I am asking dickbag daddy. I see a live stream in an auditorium and some dick daddy picture. I see nothing referencing any link. Edit: When I clicked on the link I had to scroll up on the comments. I don't use IG. -NUGS.TV @nugsnet -TWITCH - handle @sturgillsimpson -YOUTUBE (Sturgill Simpson channel)
Nice run on sentence you got there, Freak. Willpépé, just go to Sturgill’s youtube profile and it’ll be up and running at that time. On IG, it’s typically a “live” story, where you click the story at the top of the app and it’ll play.
Really wanted to have a fire on patio tonight and get plastered. Rain, so getting plastered in the basement.
