On one hand it's a step down from PS4. On the other hand it's the best looking portable mortal Kombat ever
boon tweeted that other dlc characters coming out will be announced (outside of shang tsung) next week. he posted that like 30 minutes into Sunday EST so i don't know if that means this week or next week, but regardless soon we should know who else will be joining the roster. hopefully we get the new fighters quicker than smash takes to just give us one...
I didn't realize that 500k koin thing was for a really limited time. I got it on switch but by the time I went to PS4 again they had another patch out and the bonus was gone.
honestly i'm at 4.9 million koins now... over 2k time crystals and such. all it takes is putting on ai battles in towers of time and do something else besides playing for a bit. after a sessions of that you'll be rolling. i honestly hardly ever play the game, i just have it doing ai battles mostly and unlock stuff in the krypt after. it's pretty great.
i've never been a fan of nightwolf or sindel but the new games are so much deeper that they can make any character legit vs. some characiture of something like the old games so with that more realistic approach i think i could like both possibly. spawn is cool but honestly never read the comics nor seen the movie so i'm not freaking like everyone else. it is cool that they finally included him after like 10 years of people begging for him. sad we won't get the other ninjas (probably) in the game now, but they did a cool job incorporating them into shang and that trailer hit all the right buttons for nostalgia and awesomeness. clearly have ash from evil dead as one of the guest characters. curious who the other is.

The levels, friendships, and stage fatalities is a FREE update. The $40 gets you the story (I don't know how long it is) and 3 fighters and a few skins. That, apparently, is enough to warrant a near-full-game price...which is insane. Especially so since this on top of the already-purchased Kombat Pack.
Hmm. I may wait on it and see if the price drops. I love the story and robocop looks cool but not for $40.
Played 2 of the new levels on my spawn tower. Is the tier list still Sonya-Liu Kang-Cetrion-Geras and Cassie? Sonya has been ranked top for awhile. Been using Spawn and like him. joker wasn’t bad
I’ll buy it but may wait and see if there’s a price drop first. That’s a whole new game for that price. Only played against Robocop so far and he sucked
now who are people going to complain about? Everyone just begs for Mileena and Rain. Getting both Stallone and Arnold is really cool though.
where the hell is reptile?!?! seriously though, all in with rain, and rambo made me chuckle with the stupid O face at the end. i'll probably pick this back up now since itll include everything finally -- didn't want to pay another 40-60 on just one combat pack and a bit more story.
I haven’t bought the dlc and won’t until it’s like $5. Still a great game but asking $40 for cutscene story and some new characters is laughable.
I was really really close but just decided to play some other stuff instead. It’s funny because my wife loves this game and Injustice. She legit will sit down and play the story because she enjoys it but refused to buy it as well.
This had to be the worst big game reveal of all time. I honestly would love to know if the marketing department went ballistic…assuming they had reveal plans. ironically the reveal of MK11 at the game awards was incredible.
