I’m not following his reasoning. He’s basically saying they conduct as normal, and the 9 to 15 slots are open, with no names. What if slot 9 wins? That could possibly open up tanking with the bottom tier teams that came back and played.
It all seems so fucked. I have no faith the Wings will get anything better than the 4th pick. And that a playoff team will win the lottery.
Make it as complicated as possible so its harder to claim we got screwed when we end up 4 because no one gets what actually happened
Its sad we have the best odds and I'm praying for the 3rd pick because I know its more than likely we end up 4 and I like Stutzle and Byfield a lot so I wouldn't be too mad as long as we stay top 3. Lafreniere is clear 1, but we all know we aren't going to get 1
This is ridiculous. A top team could easily come into the playoffs cold because of the break, then win the lottery.
Blash isn’t good but it’s the circumstances are so fucked right now that having him get through whatever next season is might not be the worst thing in the world.
If there is no AHL next season I really hope guys like Gagner, Abby, Ehn and especially Abdelkader aren't getting minutes. Could be a sink or swim year for some prospects. I'd hope our forwards look something like this if we don't have an AHL option Bert-Larkin-Mantha Fabbri-Stutzle-Zadina Hirose-Rasmussen-Svech Helm-Veleno-Smith That team isn't very good still but would be fun to watch how they develop.
What's the current thought on minor league sports next year?? Too expensive to keep up and running without fan attendance?
Eh, last year yes, this year was worse. There were nights that the effort wasn't there. I think some of the young guys have given up on him. But really no coach was going to do anything with this team
I'm telling you. Draft Stutzle and swindle Kenny for Draisaitl and start the German 5. My NHL20 team is gonna be lit.
Was watching some highlights from the 2013 playoffs and saw that Babcock teams were only 12-13 when they had a chance to eliminate an opponent. Starting in 2009 (oof), they went to a Game 7 five times after going up 3-2. courtesy of awood40 I know I've said this before, but I can't help but feel like this team from 05-06 through 2010-ish should have won more cups.
Haha... I am absolutely NOT going to ignore those hashtags and visit a Russian Today website. A brief summary or c+p would be great, although I feel bad that I'm going to end up thinking Pavel is a moron.
I just searched Datsyuk on Twitter to try and get more info on his part and that's how I found it. Cliffs: The crazy dude that has taken over the monestary is Pavels personal person to give confessional to. He released a statement that he basically stands with that nutso and he needs he and his family to be able to go see him every Sunday. More details on the crazy guy too. Pavel is probably very much so a moron.
that means datsyuk is giving handjobs to that nut job (no pun intended) of a priest every Sunday in the confessional.
He was asked about gay marriage and said he follows the church, which his church doesn’t believe in gay marriage.
It sucks because I assumed if Pavel is spiritual he'd be a follower Merlin the Wizard or Gandalf instead of the fucking Russian Jerry Falwell.
Stutzle over Byfield at 2 In watching clips online I must say that Perfetti has grown on me. I think I might have him over Raymond now.
Should have to wait until x-years after they retire so we can more accurately look at their legacy. Most overrated GM of all time shouldnt be the basis for getting into the HoF.
If it’s not #1 I do not care too much You can argue 2-5 or 6 isn’t much difference. I think I even read in McKenzie’s final ranking that two scouts had Byfield at 6 (crazy).
One had Rossi like 18th. I have changed my mind a million times but assuming we don’t pick first my preference is: 1. Stutzle 2. Byfield 3. Rossi 4. Raymond 5. Perfetti
I disagree with this. Stutzle and Byfield still better than rest for me. If we are 4 id guess maybe we look at Drysdale
