I love that Jericho has basically made it his mission in AEW to work with guys he can help get over and reach the next level (or, in the case of Moxley, validate the title in order to give him a strong first reign).
I mean if there’s one place you can get away with a Steiner Screwdriver it’s against the lighter guys in AEW. I know guys talk about being scared to work with Vader, but fuck if you watch what the Steiners did to jobbers in the early 90s...fucking yikes
He's as the end of his run & that's what lifers should do. He's done everything possible in wrestling & is getting paid well so its not a big deal.
For Jeff’s car jumping a curb and hitting Elias and a stop sign, it looks emmaculate also, I live 15 minutes from there and have never seen “City Metro” cop car or an ambulance that looks like that or any including the letter in the phone number I mean come on Vince, spring for the OCSO fee for a real cop and car
She’s such a look at me person. This isn’t the first time they used Jeff’s real life issues in a storyline.
I assume it will be revealed Corbin or somone set him up. A straight up DUI manslaughter angle would be wild in 2020. It did catch my attention before I fast forwarded though.
Curious if they sell out the tickets they have available. On one hand I get the need and want to move forward. On the other do I need to risk life to watch wrestling live in person right now.
sane never had her feet under her and is thrown head first. That spot never looks like that because the person taking the bump initiates the contact with the steps, they aren’t actually thrown
Nia is one of the least safe workers in WWE and unlike others in the past she keeps getting pushed towards the top of the card. Shes awful.
another reason WWE is fucking terrible with all the quality workers they have they don't need a monster if she hurts a person every 2 months.
Nia is just a product of being rushed to the main stage. When that hashtag trended Vince rushed to call up a ton of talent. What he saw was a bunch of new talent (horsewomen) who could go in ring being matched up with a bunch of "divas" who largely couldn't. So over time he had to rush up NXT not ready for the stage. Nia and Danna come to mind quickly but others also followed. Nia is not the only one she's just been put in the highest of profiles. People make mistakes in the ring. Brie had a bad few spots on her last run. Mistakes happen. Given her past Nia won't get the benefit of the doubt for most. Its hard to just look at that single spot and say she did something so awful. Illini is right the spot fucked up because Sane never gained her balance. Its just bad luck more so being sloppy.
Nia is impressive based on look. Shes an attractive larger women who can move in the ring. She's still green but she's over. The crowd reacts to her. She's a good heel and when they pushed her against Alexa she got over as a sympathetic baby face as a "giant". My point above is the bigger issue. Learning on the fly is difficult and she wasn't ready skill wise to be put on the main stage. Vince was able to get away with that with the men, mostly because a ton of the talent coming up worked indy for years and years. Most of the females started from scratch and thus take more time and reps they didn't get in Orlando.
Sunny being racist is one of least shocking things I've seen today...she is melting down on twitter if people want to watch a train wreck
Jericho posted all lives matter a few days ago. He also had Don Trump Jr on his podcast so this shouldn’t shock anyone.
Its of no shock to me... I've known him to be a conservative dude just based on his conversation on the podcast especially when he lets his guard down about his spot on the cards. I remember back to him speaking about a program he was having with either Mox or KO and how he was pissed Vince gave the main event spot to a random PPV to Sasha and Char and how they shit the bed and Vince was pissed. And Jericho was basically saying how the ladies don't deserve those spots. It came off very misogynistic. I also remember Peter Rosenberg being pretty crirical of Jericho because of how he is backstage. Given how liberal Peter is I took that to mean Chris is probably some ass hole conservative who puts on a front for the general public and is very different behind the scenes.
Fuck wrestlers with bad opinions You know who rule? Batista X-Pac Hangman Matt Hardy KO Generico Sasha Cody Bret Hart Kevin Nash FTR Millions more I'm forgetting
