People find it boring? Do they need explosions 24/7 or something? The dialogues and character development are awesome
I have more than a handful of friends who gave it the first season some gave it even less. also read posts in the thread saying the same thing. I dont know how you watch the episode five-0 and be like.... naaaahh this shit sucks.
"Oh what's crazy old Chuck doing with his space blankets. Oh look Kim is working too hard. Oh man is Howard a good guy or a bad guy."
I was one of these people. Started a rewatch this week...first season better than I remembered...then again I've been watching some really shitty shows lately. I think I was just burnt out on the BB universe at the time. About through season 2 where I stopped before.
Yeah, I didn't care about those plot points. I want to see Slippin Jimmy run scams. Rest of the show didn't connect with me. I fully acknowledge I watched whilst drunk and I'm an idiot to begin with
I feel like thats fair being burnt out is different. the problem i have with my friends is mostly the “well its not breaking bad” I mean idk why do you want the same show? One is about a lawyer in the world of lawyers who uses his mouth as his weapon, the other about a drug dealing kingpin. And the further you get it more it mixes into the BB world as well makes sense as they’ll probably end up around where Jesse and Walter kidnaps Saul.
Episode 1 of history 101 is about fast food. I really enjoyed it I’ve watched super size me prob more than 5 times so I may just be biased
Just started Glitch. Looks pretty interesting. It's an Aussie show. https://www.netflix.com/title/80108495 James Hayes is a small town police man who is called to the local cemetery in the middle of the night after six people have inexplicably risen from the dead in perfect health. With no memory of their identities, they are determined to discover who they are and what has happened to them. James recognises one of them and along with local doctor Elishia Glass, struggles to keep the case hidden from his colleagues, his family and the world. The six people are all linked in some way and the search begins for someone who knows the truth about how and why they have returned.
I wasn’t really impressed with the Epstein doc. It didn’t seem to add anything about the story we don’t already know at this point.
also its weird that Yuri Gagarin can survive a flight to space and back but he can’t even survive a test flight on fighter jet
watched this tuesday night. started out pretty slow but the last 2/3 of it was pretty hilarious to me.
Money Heist fucking got me. Said limited series and only four parts. Watch the first four and realize that meant seasons and now I have to find out what happens
Just started Better Call Saul. Still have a couple weeks of paternity leave. Plan on finishing the whole damn thang
It really pissed me off that they didn’t wrap up the first heist in part 1 and then they pulled the same shit again with the second heist. I now hate watch it.
Space Force is getting spitroasted in reviews. The trailer made it look awful but I still had hope. Maybe it follows the Office/Parks and Rec trend where the first season is not very good but gets better after that
Have a Good Trip is pretty entertaining - it’s relatable but also funny to get inside the head of some of these space cadet celebrities
stupid girl goes and plays Nancy Drew into a murder and messes with countless shady characters and nothing happens to her, that's like 1 of 8 incredibly stupid things in the show but whatever
I knew that we went to great lengths to get the German rocket scientists out of Europe before the Soviets could get them. These same scientists were the brains behind our space program. I always considered them to be German. Were all of them Nazis?
That’s sobering. As youths (Utes) we learned from textbooks which omitted certain details. The brainwashing and indoctrination starts almost immediately.
I don’t think this was a well known thing until recently. I also don’t think that it was taught in grade schools.
