he got a bump from his whole wolf fight/ rogan appearance but he just didn’t ride that wave hard enough to keep steadily growing thought he would use that momentum to get his white rhino (jim carrey) but i think he stopped to focus on his twitch
Dave has sided with Tucker/Fox/MAGA and continues to align with him and his followed through appearances. Surprised he hasn’t dropped an All Lives Matter.
Usually I can kind of “get” what Dave is trying to say in his rants, even if I don’t agree, I can still kind of get it because I know he’s playing it up for the camera/in his “Pres” character or whatever. That said, his video today he just comes off like an idiot. The questions he asked about it, weren’t that bad, and could have been a common discussion point. However when he starts chiming in with his opinion, it’s just a bad look and basically what this whole thing is about. For one day, just shut up and listen to, or observe what is going on in this world.
Honk has never bothered me much. Seems like a decent kid. He’s essentially grown up in barstool yet seems somewhat grounded. Of course, he’s an uneducated idiot, but a great producer/editor.
Agreed on Billy. I don’t fast forward through him but I don’t pay much attention. Chaps on the other hand is appointment listening every time they have him off. I’d love to give him Billy’s 20 minutes every Monday.
I can’t imagine the black barstool employees are too thrilled with Dave’s video and tweets from today. It was not good
Also, what did he say? a quick look at his twitter shows him currently posting videos of both police and protestor violence as an attempt to both sides it
Yeah I strongly disagree with Dave and his views on this. Have come close to hitting that unfollow button as he is really making me cringe and don’t really want to support a guy with these type of views. Never had a problem with him until this.
His biggest fuck up yesterday is he did all the things the barstool black employees had gotten on multiple platforms on barstool and elsewhere and said “please don’t do these things” or “it’s not helpful to think this way or say these things”. He clearly didn’t listen to Nardinis pod with Trill and Willie, for starters. It’s also not new that he thinks he’s got the right perspective or thing to say in every situation. Nobody wants to hear from the carnival barker at a pivotal moment in American History and he misread that badly.
As someone who just started to paying attention to Dave after watching 100s of pizza reviews over the last week. He seems like a genuine guy, but his comments yesterday seem to be geared towards majority of his fan base. He played a side that he thought most of his subscribers would agree with. Like I said, I’m new to this, but just my thoughts
PMT opened up the pod today citing the Arian Foster interview as enlightening them to not eye roll the black out movement. It definitely went against what Dave said. Between his going on Fox News all the time and this latest stance, I'm done following him.
I also kind of think since that one rant he had went viral, he now is almost chasing that sensation and feels the need to chime in again.
Did I miss something that Dave said? It seemed like his overall point of flooding Instagram with black boxes makes it more difficult to find relevant news related to the protests makes sense, even though it misses the point of the whole blackouttuesday movement. He needs to shut up and listen a bit longer before making posts like that, but I'm not sure anything he said was inappropriate. I dunno.
his main point in the first video he tweeted was “we have to get to a place in society where black people aren’t afraid of police”, which is not the worst take but also off the mark. one of the bloggers contacted Erika to get the okay to go back at Dave's statement and then wrote a blog breaking down what Dave got wrong. Dave used monday's rundown to defend himself and repeatedly ask Dan and KFC to explain why he is wrong. then Dave goes into "both sides" territory, which is where we are now.
I only half listened to his one rant on it but he seems to be a classic example of the middle aged white guy who understands why black people are mad but has also grown up sheltered thinking cops are great people/heroes and can’t come to terms with that not being the case. Whitney seems to be the same way, which is compounded by him having friends that are police officers. They’ll then be the people not understanding why they get criticism for putting much more effort into defending the sanctity of the police force than they do sympathizing with the grievances of black people and other minorities.
dave called him Ethiopian Josh during the rundown. maybe it was just a twitter response and not a blog, i can't find him on the site.
I definitely understand why, but Riggs running this clip of him making that putt into the ground is cracking me up.
Ive watched a couple so far, but cracks me up how riled up Brandon gets during the game. One I watched yesterday Kayce was stumped on the CFB questions but she acted like the answer was on the tip of her tongue, then claimed she read the question wrong...made me laugh since I’ve read most people don’t enjoy her CFB takes.
Brandon Walker should have to face the drunk Chicago guys every day of the week. I think he’d quit by Wednesday
I think the gripe with her is that she is more like a casual fan but claims to be a die hard. She might love A&M, but her college football knowledge is not great.
She’s fake ALL over. Be authentic. Don’t get a mole removed and put “cancer survivor” as the first two words on your twitter profile
Tell me where I’m wrong. My wife has had cancerous cells/moles removed too. We don’t walk around with live strong bracelets on
