Godzilla he is about 20-25 pounds. He is rescue. He got out once and I literally tackled him in the parking lot. People are fucked up to black cats. IDK if he learned from that but he doesn’t try to get out now.

I know this is the dog thread and my bad for mentioning my cat. But, fuck your if you don’t love both. I am a “dog person” but above all I am a animal person. As people as men we need to protect those that are smaller and helpless. That’s how you define your self as a man. Not by who you can beat up, but by who you defend .

not a huge cat fan but I agree that they are adorable and it takes a special kind of terrible person to abandon an animal. We just realized a huge marmotte is living nearby and wants to eat our grass sometimes, the issue is that my gf wants to grow some tomatoes in the garden and they are usually pretty good at ruining a garden..,but I can’t just kill the dude.

That’s not a picture I took, I am pretty sure the one we got here is fatter. Dude is huge, I am almost wondering if he gets in here during the night and eat some of my ice cream

And I would probably live with that, we just need to find a common ground

And I lost my English for a second, that’s a groundhog. Commonly known as a siffleux or marmotte up here

like i said to my gf, we could just make get a tomato out of the garden and put it right around where he usually gets in our yard. That might do the trick, after a few hot dogs I usually get lazy. I bet it’s not different for that dude.

Glad to hear the pup is recovering well, Parvo is some scary shit, seen too many pups die unnecessarily from that shit.
As far as giving him the meds, you can try mixing it in with a little bit of wet food, just have him lick the bowl to make sure he gets it all.
We had a foster this week who wasn't eating a ton, had to give him Panacur and he ate the shit out of the cat food mixed with the meds.

This may be a dumb question but we are feeding him 3 times a day. If he doesn’t eat all of the food in a meal, would you guys leave the food bowl where it’s at so he has access to it or pick it up till his next meal?

Lenin at what age does one need to start getting concerned about their dog's joints? Last week we went on a 4 mile hike 5 days (2 miles up mount nittany, and 2 miles back home). He's a 7 year old black mouth cur and seems to be doing great with it, but I don't want to wear him out.

Cosequin max did wonders for my dog. His front left leg didn't grow properly because of his absolute shit owners when he was a puppy. He used to limp a lot on it. Vet told me to start cosequin max for his joints and after a month or two I could notice a big difference. I just started my 4 year old lab on it.

Took the pup out to the nature park today. He was a good boy for 95% of the walk and was a mad man for a short period. Refused to let him pull at the leash on the way in and he was crying like a baby while we stood in place until he calmed down. He also had his first experience in the water.

Cosuquin worked wonders for our older dog
She had gotten to where she wouldn't even put pressure on on of her back legs, about 3 years ago
One Cosuquin treat a day and she even can jump up on the couch
She knows, every day when I get home its time for me to give it to her

My dog woke up with hives like this.

only thing we can think is that she ate some food at a friends house that was cheapo grocery store brand.

could that cause itchy hives like this???

been giving her Benadryl and have some oatmeal spray

Layla threw up on Saturday night, twice yesterday, and then again this morning. She's normally very food driven, but didn't eat on Sunday morning. We fed her boiled chicken and rice last night and this morning. She ate that, but still seemed kind of lethargic. She's at the vet now. Her vitals are good, but she's dropped almost 5 lbs (84.5 to 80) since she had her annual on 5/14. They're doing blood work now. Her poops and water consumption have been normal.
