The layout inside Parkside makes no sense. The patio is one of the better ones besides garage and Avondale
I got tired of jogging the same routes in my hilly ass neighborhood, so did the Vulcan Trail (for the first time) this morning. Really nice, fairly flat trail that goes from Vulcan to Greensprings, near George Ward Park along a ridge with nice views of the city. Total the trail is 4mi (2 in each direction).
The funniest part of people like double douche bus crying about Dykes getting put on blast for his comments is that even if you take the racially disparaging part out of it, he’s complaining about people protesting which (last I checked) is the exact same constitutional right they are using to defend him having bad opinions. Do you not love the constitution DoubleDutchBus? Also, ddb, let’s let the market decide on this one. I bet calling the protests bad and Floyd a thug is going to work out well for a bar in Avondale.
Nah, if people want to protest against racial injustice, that’s their constitutional right to do so. Just like if Dykes wants use the word thugs, that’s his constitutional right to do so. Everyone gets so caught up in words, like the president referring to looters as thugs, but the president before said the same thing.
Haha That last part probably has a bit to do with how each have presented themselves and their other remarks over the years.
Candace Owens makes me want to literally vomit. What a vile human being. I hate that gofundme so much. True moral bankruptcy.
They suspended the gofundme for that Parkside owner. Campaign Not Found We're sorry, but that campaign cannot be found. Please check the link URL and try again.
What was the stated purpose? I said something ignorant and racist, please help me out people are being mean? Or was it for the other owner to buy him out?
The former, but a lot of conservative media outlets shared it as being a “conservative cafe owner whose business was decimated in the riots.”

meh, was always kinda mediocre. One of the only places I preferred takeout since the eat-in was pretty shabby. There's also the new Crab Barrack across the road next to King Buffet. Has anyone tried that yet? I keep meaning to.

If anybody is looking for outdoor (or indoor) furniture, Summer Classics is having their once a year sale this Thursday June 11 through Monday. They’ve got really nice stuff marked down 50-80%. We got an outdoor sectional a couple years ago, that would’ve been $6k, for like 75% off. If you’re interested, I’d recommend going Thursday or Friday. The good stuff gets hit fast.
That’s the assumption. But considering how this thing can spread exponentially and judging from my Instagram feed of people living it up at Innis Free, etc it isn’t going to slow down much
So many awful names on there. Top 3: Rowsalee, Abeil, Draken. Honorable mention to Raelynn. Bet she will hear a lot of jokes about that.
Is there such a thing in the Bham area as a mechanic that will do house call repairs? The hose to my radiator just broke off. It appears to be something I could fix if I had any idea what I was doing with my car and trying to avoid the hassle of having it towed
