Smith Optics or bust. Had a buddy who was a ski bum in Breckenridge who hooked me up with discounted pairs and I've worn them for years. They truthfully honor their lifetime warranty too, I've sent mine back 3 times and they've always been approved. You just pay to ship them back to HQ in Utah.
https://www.jabra.com/bluetooth-headsets/jabra-elite-75t##100-99090002-02 I have those, and they're great for clarity and calls. But they fall out of my ear a lot any time I smile or change my facial expression it seems.
I have several pair and use them in variety of ways. Maui Jims for on the water fishing or on the boat. Daily use currently are Oakley mainlinks that need to be replaced because of scratches. Have a cheap pair of polarized wraps for yard work and what not.. Have had Smiths in the past but they seem pretty damn heavy(at least their glass lenses). Loved my Kaenons(Burnets) but left those somehweres in Nashville or my rental car.. too expensive to replace. That's what is so intriguing about the Oakley Latches, anyways..
I did love the Smith Chromapops I had(really make green pop) but I’m too rough on sunglasses so I moved to cheaper stuff. The Blenders I had were aight but went down hill fast, the free AARP ones I got snapped and currently love the Goodr I have now(but they are newish).
I like how the video they have for it basically tells you nothing about the product and you have to scroll way down the page to figure out why/how it’s called Latch
I've gotten the plantronics for everyone in my offices, they aren't cheap, but they work great. Some of the headsets are very old and still working fine.
Got my enchroma glasses. I can notice some difference but it’s not like an immediate wow by any means. They do say it can take up to 10 hours of wear before the full effect can sit in so we shall see.
Not even close. Chances are I’m returning them even if they do end up working well because they are also uncomfortable.
Is there a list somewhere of quality sunglasses not made luxoptica. I had some natives that I lost fishing and think they were solid.
Just grabbed these chromapop polarized Not my first choice of color etc, but for 70 bucks when they retail for 180 I was sold for using while fishing
Apparently it’s pretty common for strong protans to need long exposure to really start to see the benefits.
Just a classic Webber Kettle Premium Charcoal Grill. Needed a new grill and thought I'd go with a classic. Lots of add-ons/upgrades available.
I just did a Spatchcock Chicken in mine tonight that turned out delicious, but alas mine is not badass English Racing Green. Get a rotisserie ring for it and a couple baskets. Best thing I ever did.
Bishop I use my Weber kettle more than any other grill i have. If i might make a recommendation, the ArteFlame cast iron insert is fucking awesome.
I have almost bought one of these several times, I just can't get over the way the guy that makes em looks
Maybe it’s good I’ve never seen him then, but this thing is the shit for burgers, breakfasts, and searing steaks. Really amps up a kettle.
bigred77 Long Ball Larry RU-Omega Potato wes tegg Thanks for the recommendations. Next purchase will be a charcoal basket and a BBQ Dragon side table. Might need a Weber Kettle Appreciation Thread.
Anyone got any recommendations on gas-power pressure or power washers? Want to clean all the mildew and assorted crap off the patio and get the paint off another concrete surface. Could find other uses but that’s what would be the most heavy duty task. And if you know a good surface cleaner to add to it I would appreciate that recommendation as well.
For the mildew you’d want a mildewcide to kill it so it doesn’t come back. Zep makes some good cleaners that can do the paint I would think.
I don’t know why that is even in there. Must have pressed an extra letter on the keyboard and my iPhone just autocorrected it to something.
Is there a TMB recommendation for bathing suit? I’ve been rocking my $15 amazon pair for a coup,e years but looking to get away from the mesh liner and something a little nicer than that cheap fabric feel.
Anyone have any recommendations for gym style shirts with a liner. Like chubbies etc, but. It costing 60 bucks. I have some Nike challengers that I got on clearance I like but looking to add some more.
Was hoping someone had some suggestions around the 20 dollar range of off brands they like. Will look into these those. Some some on Instagram and apparently they are the same.omes Walmart uses and have terrible reviews.
I can’t really take any credit for it. My lawn guy Juan does a pretty good job keeping it looking clean. He doesn’t charge a lot which is nice, but I’d still be willing to pay more to avoid cutting the grass every weekend during Houston summers.
All my swimsuits are Columbia. Usually by them in clearance off season. Wear them pretty much everyday during the summer and like them.
Decided to get myself a computer monitor for home since I’ll be working from home indefinitely. I was limited in how big I could get because of the space I have on my desk but this will be a nice improvement over the 13” screen on my MacBook Pro. Supposed to be able to support the full resolution my computer can send out. Will see if I can configure a way to use both this and my Mac screen at the same time. No way I’ll be able to do it side by side, unfortunately.
Not a recent read, but I can’t recommend The Genius of Birds by Jennifer Ackerman highly enough. An Entirely Synthetic Fish by Anders Halverson is really good too. If there’s any specific subject you’re looking for, I could probably recommend something more specific.
