Come on. You can’t really try and argue that Bayern/Freiburg is more intriguing than Dortmund/Leipzig. It actually has implications on the table lol
I guess but the Gladbach and Leverkusen matches are probably more important in that regard. Unless Leipzig loses, then that 4th UCL spot is going to be decided on the last matchday. Ok, I stand corrected. I’ve got both channels on Fubo.
Champs up 3-1 at the half. Kimmich scored early and Lewa with a brace. Largely junior team players starting and all junior team reserves except for a couple.
Oh shit, Heidenheim beat Hamburg with the last kick of the game. This essentially promotes Stuttgart (given GD) and means Hamburg need to better Heidenheim on the final day to make the playoff.
Just a reminder that Fox sucks giant dick. 2 UCL spots up for grabs between 3 clubs, 2 clubs fighting for the relegation playoff instead of relegation and they have 3 channels to show things on. They’re showing Bayern and Dortmund on 2 of them with nothing to play for
I don’t have Univision Deportes so I can’t watch RBL I do have Fox Soccer Plus in SD but Fox app won’t allow me to stream it in HD. Again, fuck you Fox Guess I’m watching Reyna
Mönchengladbach and Leverkusen both up early. Oof I didn’t realize how much GD difference there is. They can’t pass RBL
Osako scores for Bremen!!! Düsseldorf still level so both on 31 points if scores hold but Bremen down 3 on GD
In 2. Bundesliga promotion playoff race, FC Heidenheim lead Hamburg by 1 point but trail by 8 on GD. Tomorrow Heidenheim play at Arminia Bielefeld who have already clinched the title. Hamburg host 12th place Sandhausen
Yeah not the best sign that with the season on the line he’s on the bench but Havertz is also on the bench for Leverkusen so who knows, maybe not Would rather see them stay up knowing he should get regular minutes next season
Casteels with a clear handball outside the box on a breakaway. Not even reviewed. Typical VAR. should be a red card.
Freiburg up 3-0. Its incredible to look at Schalke results dating back to January 25th and know they’re easily outside the relegation fight. 5-0 L 0-0 D 3-2 W 1-1 D 0-0 D 0-5 L 3-0 L 0-1 L 1-1 D 4-0 L 0-3 L 2-1 L 0-1 L 1-1 D 1-1 D 2-1 L 1-4 L 3-0 (going to be L)
They've been absolutely rocked by injuries which excuses some of it but it's looking more and more like Wagner isn't the guy. They'll have scored 5 goals since the restart and only a dozen in 2020. There's also no money to do anything so I'd be shocked if they weren't in a relegation battle next season. On top of all that, the racist team president just oversaw one of the worst COVID outbreaks in the country at one of his meatpacking plants. So I'd say things are going well.
In today’s 2.Bundesliga finale, we had a single point separating Heidenheim and Hamburg for the relegation playoff spot against Bremen. Hamburg sees Heidenheim get handled 3-0 to league winners Arminia and are surely in pole position to jump them. All they have to do a beat 10th place Sandhausen. What do they do, you say? Well I’m glad you asked. They spend the afternoon getting buttfucked 5-1. AT FUCKING HOME. Granted, the empty stadium isn’t the usual Hamburg atmosphere, but still.
For reference in case you didn’t know, Hamburg was the only Bundesliga team to have never been relegated. They even had a running clock of time without being relegated. They went into the last matchday needing a win and a loss/draw by Wolfsburg. They’re winning their game but Wolfsburg is up 4-0 over Köln and their fate is sealed. They clearly handled it well.
