South of the Ozarks is Arkansas. That’s the joke. The hillbilly ozarks drags down Missouris IQ and would raise up Arkansas’ IQ because of all that land south of the ozarks. Looks like all that time spent in Arkansas dropped Neds IQ too. SAD!
I was taking your use of Ozarks as just the Lake, and not the entire region. Hence my follow up post.
It’s beautiful geography. And there are some nice resort places but outside of those its a lot of trailer trash and redneck bigots. Putting the shit talking aside, its pretty sad. All those people have been left behind because none of the politicians care about them. Only stoke up resentment wedge issues to use them for votes.
gonna be real fun when there are like 50 of these reports for every sport, every day but we’ll still have people like THF pushing for college kids to play
Heard from someone at a non-P5 school in SoCal that they had a hoops player return to campus this past Saturday afternoon. They got tested Sunday morning. Between arrival and test they hung out with 10+ people in a couple dorms without masks. Positive result this morning Now everyone is quarantined for two weeks Pretty much gonna have thousands of these occurrences
I know the schools think they can minimize travel by shortening Fall semester. Take a co-ed from ATL going to Alabama. You think she's not going to drive home at least a couple of weekends and hang out with friends there?
At this point if they try to play a CFB season, the conferences need to have conference only schedules. Dennis Dodd mentioned the disparity in testing between conferences; why risk it against conferences that are not able to take it seriously, or just aren’t taking it seriously? Of course all that gets you is hope. No way we actually get CFB this fall.
If we get the vaccine and don't blow any chance in the fall, we could do it in the spring. That seems like the far better option for a number of reasons so I'm sure they won't choose it
everyone should know RPI because they won the 1985 NCAA men's hockey title with Adam Oates it's one of the most prestigious engineering schools in the world and they draw incredibly talented people from all over the planet they will not participate in fall sports this year https://wnyt.com/sports/rpi-will-not-participate-in-fall-sports-season/5777043/?cat=256
Stanford planning on having freshmen on campus for the fall quarter and then not bringing them back till the summer quarter interested to see if they announce anything related to fall/winter sports soon https://www.paloaltoonline.com/news...-this-fall-but-will-still-mostly-learn-online
