One of my biggest fears is it being my wife’s decision to take me off life support bc I don’t think she would/could do it I have a living will that says just kill me but I think she’d fight it
most people probably dont want to know how end of life normally goes or how fucky it can get real fast with decision making
You ok bro? I personally like dtx posts. I feel like I’m on the frontlines in Texas from way up here in Kentucky. Stay strong dtx.
They closed beaches on the east coast of Florida but are leaving the beaches on the west coast open. Some restaurants are closing for the weekend because they’re expecting a ‘surge’ of people coming over from Dade/Broward County and last time this happened it was a free for all. Naples ended up on TMZ and they had to reclose the beaches.
Oh come the fuck on. Why are you offended by his posts? This is the second time you’ve posted this whiny shit.
God forbid someone post shit showing us how bad Texas is right now and why it's happening. I mean if it bothers you, ignore him.
This guy may think this is a zinger, but he's absolutely right. Mask wearers are all of these things and it's not up for debate
Isn’t he the guy who said all older adults should gladly die for the sake of the economy (not meaning himself of course)?
i don’t even just post texas. just happens to be most of the shit on my tl, understandably imo i rarely post anything elsewhere anymore because i don’t really care about sports related bullshit when there’s a fucking global pandemic. just try to keep people informed when i’m bored as shit at work. guess i’ll just play video games instead since i hurt feelings somehow
ATXCane03 is the king of shit posting in the Heat thread. One of the worst posters on this board and I’m sure a majority of the #Miami Heat fans would agree
My wife's grandfather turns 100 in about six weeks. To celebrate, my in-laws from Atlanta will be flying to MN for a party they're having for him at my wife's aunt's house. Not sure how they plan to get him released from his ALF but whatever. Additionally, my father-in-law was going to drive up from Arizona for this, but is now considering flying because flights are cheap. This is going to go well.
Having lived in Texas and having the bulk of my family and several good friends still there definitely makes me appreciate the Texas info. And those family and friends appreciate me caring enough to learn it.
Not sure if someone answered already but thats where a prison is that apparently had like 1100 put of 2k test positive.
Thanks for sharing. I'm in a similar situation, haven't seen dad since March and he lives about 20 minutes away. When do you think you'll see him again?
It’s a message board. It exists for people to post. Seems weirder to keep tabs on how often someone posts rather than just participate in posting
Going to be tight when we have a million people die and New Zealand has like 40. How is this ever acceptable?
Good thing I haven't left my house in 4 months (when I do go to Lowe's I wear a mask) so this would be over.
I was just thinking the same thing pretty much just hung out at home all this time, so did a lot of people only to have it flare up because some assholes need to be at the bars so they can snap pics and post on instagram
Yep. Now I'm just mad af. I see everyone out and about having a blast while I sit at home with no sports to watch. Everyone is on vacation or taking trips. I will say though the last two weeks here when I've had to go to Lowe's or Publix I'd wager 98% of the people had masks on. Prior to these last two weeks no one wore masks.
Did arms yesterday outside and 40 mins of cardio in the same setup. App said it felt like 106 at the time. I sweat like hell and my heart rate never dips below 140 even when I’m walking so I just chalk it up to getting more “bang for my buck”.
At the airport (LAX) for the first time since this all started. With the first 10 minutes I saw 10 people wearing their mask incorrectly (nose exposed) and one dipshit not wearing one at all. This might have been a big mistake.
Well that’s a relief. I read the post as suggesting your HR was over 100 normally and was about to tell you that you should get to the cardiologist ASAP.
No it only gets up in the 140 range when I’m working out in the heat. It’ll hit 160 when I jog for a bit but I’ll start walking to bring it back down to stay in the fat burning zone. It’s really easy to stay in that zone when you’re bundled up and hot af
