https://cosmicbook.news/disney-resetting-star-wars-erasing-last-jedi Whoa - I would say 50/50 it happens
Lmao both TLJ and Brie Larson are getting erased. The wildest dreams of all the aggrieved incel fanboys are coming true.
Strong women are a threat to their fragile egos. And if there is a sniff of the female character being a Mary Sue, it gets them even more pissed.
I would be fine either way with them erasing the last trilogy. I think there was a lot of... interesting ideas and characters but it was executed incredibly poorly. The chance to use Kylo and Rey and Han and the Emperor and Snoke again but in a less stupid way (like say have the same director/vision aross the entire trilogy - GASP) would be welcome to me
They aren't retconning as much as some would want that. They need to move on to new stories in new time periods anyway.
Just give it the Iron Man 3 treatment and pretend like it didn't happen, or make only incredibly vague references to it in the future films.
Easy fix, ep 10 Luke had a previously unknown child (Sebastian Stan), forces of light and dark are both hunting him.
Just leave these characters alone. We've got a massive galaxy with thousands of years of history and we keep worrying about one damn family.
The best thing going in the star wars universe is a show that hasn't made a single reference to Jedi or Skywalker.
That’s why I like these off-shoot shows of Mandalorian and Clone Wars. You can use these classic characters in cameos, or a one-season storyline type deal. Hell, start casting younger actors for these characters like Leia for example. Also - I think it would be really cool if this online rumor (yeah, I know) was true about the Mando-ending dark saber - Spoiler It belongs to Luke Skywalker. Please don’t boot me off this thread.
I should not have even included it since it would dilute my point that I like the new characters in the galaxy, and using cameos of the classic characters to accompany their storyline sometimes.
The Darksaber already has a fleshed out history that doesn’t include Luke Is this thing where you post the dumbest possible rumors a bit?
nevermind that the backstory of the dark saber is already established and there is no time period where it makes sense for Luke to have taken possession of the Dark Saber.
Take a peek at the star wars subreddit and you'll find a whole generation who argue the prequels are actually not bad and the original trilogy was actually just as mediocre.
special invitation to all to met players and familes at my facebook . op - wu it,s Jon Kebler join not competion with tmb just good families and players getting together new facebook new microsoft format . make your own room . again Jon Kebler -- I am pretty shure you already know the current players be cool we are .
That’s my argument to everyone that complains about the sequels. In 10 years we will all be watching them going “eh they aren’t great, but Star Wars is fucking cool” just like we do with the prequels
I don't mind someone liking the prequels. Who the fuck am I to tell you not to like something. I loved Independence Day Resurgence. Like whatever you want, I don't care. I just don't like when someone tries to drag something down in order to justify their liking of something that's not as good. If you want to say "Jar Jar is fine," go ahead, but it's the fans that say "Jar Jar is fine, because C3PO is just as annoying in A New Hope" that piss me off. 3PO was fucking awesome in the original trilogy, going from "droid who's not very good at telling stories" in A New Hope, to "droid who tells a fucking awesome cliffsnotes of the trilogy to the Ewoks" in ROTJ.
Never was a fan of Jar Jar and the Eopie fart joke, but guess what? My 7 y/o cracks up every time. There's two SW movies he wants to watch, PM and RotJ and that's ok. No, it's awesome. He still loves Star Wars, just not in the exact way I do.
