    Read yesterday that investment firms with $600b in assets are pushing Nike, FedEx, and Pepsi to force the Redskins to change the name or to cut ties with them. That's where the pressure is coming from.

    Anyone asking FSU to change their name is uneducated on the subject. The Seminole tribe opposed a name change last time it came up people asking for it to be changed. The tribe also approved Osceola and the tribe also designs what he wears on the field

    Here is some background on the relationship between FSU and the Seminole tribe. It wouldn't surprise me at all if there are some changes, however I doubt anything happens to the name as long as the official Seminole tribe is on board.
