Taking Little Miss Piss in to the vet today. She’s been acting weird around the litter box. Jumps in and out, squats and doesn’t do anything. But when she does she doesn’t pee much. Hopefully nothing, but better be safe than sorry. More than likely, just typical woman behavior of spending my money.
Vet thinks it’s a bladder irritation due to stress levels of having a new puppy in the house. Hasn’t been drinking very much lately, now that I’ve been paying attention to it. She’s gonna be on some wet food with a pain / stress Med with her own eating / drinking area. No blockages, no crystals or stones in bladder. But based on the Ultrasound her bladder is very small at this time. Glad it wasn’t anything serious.
Wet food was a hit and a separate room for her that’s blocked off in the laundry room with tons of water was a success.
Been struggling with the new pup trying to dominate our orange tabby...bought a training collar with vibrate, shock, and tone settings. Don’t want to use negative reinforcements but I also won’t compromise on my cat’s safety. She’s a good pup just going to take some work to address that prey drive. Any advice is appreciated. Our other cat is an alpha and the pup doesn’t fuck with her at all, cat sleeps on her bed etc... it’s just my best buddy Tut that the pupper is overly interested in. I also think it’s a bit of the herding instinct kicking in too.
this was Baxter. The pic is overexposed AF but my wife just found it today. Baxter was the best cat ever. And he always slept like this.
Maddie has been getting spoiled all week. Alone time on the three season room, wet food meals, and been taking her on walks in the backyard and flower beds. Back to drinking water like normal. Thank goodness she was just stressed and needed attention. She was out napping under my grill this afternoon. I love this f’n kitty Spoiler

hell yes they do - mine’s 17 or 18 and can be an annoyance at times, but she’s the best cat I’ve ever had
when I was back in the dating pool over a year ago, I really didn’t give a shit if any women thought any less of me for having a cat
Perfect marks on the harness color palate, good eye contact, great tummy, but I have to dock a point on the lack accessories. Overall I give him an 8.5 pussywhipped out of 10, which is a fantastic score; he should be proud.
We have "adopted" a CNR cat apparently. We call him Gutter because he travels/might live in the culverts around here. Super sweet kitty that is not afraid of people or chill dogs. Our indoor cat is not a fan.
His new thing is he sits at the top of the steps and cries, this causes Sally (dog) to run up the steps, he then jumps up on the cat tree at the highest part and swats at the dog this goes on all day, it’s funny unless it’s nap time
We have a 1/2 gate up that he can go under, the cat food and litter box are in there too many tasty treats for Sally to leave it open
Ramsey had been acting strange for a few days, took him to the vet on Thursday and just had an ultrasound done today and it’s bad. Gonna have to put him down and I’m fucking wrecked.
Fuck man, I’m so sorry to hear this. There’s not much to offer in terms of words to help heal your pain, but take comfort in knowing you gave him the best life possible and that you’re doing the right thing to end his pain and suffering. Spoil the hell out of him these last few days and make a few more lasting memories. Hang in there, things will get easier in due time.
I’m so sorry. Just do whatever you can to make him comfortable. I think it’s safe to say everyone itt will be thinking about y’all.
