Won a stitch SL2 bag. Trying to decide if I want to use it or sell it on eBay for the crazy prices they are going for
Looking at getting a new bag. Leaning towards either the Titleist Players or the Hybrid 5. I won’t walk often, but I want to have the ability to walk 9 holes occasionally. Anybody have any experience with either or care to chime in?
I have had two Titleist bags in the last few years. For what I paid for them I haven't been overly impressed by the quality. Zipper broke on the first one and one of the legs fell off my current bag.
Had the opposite. Both titliest bags ive purchased are great. Had a 14 way that I got rid of for a 4way and it’s great.
Maybe I just beat the shit out of bags. Had a Cleveland bag in between the Titleists and it was great until my wife ran over it with her car. She claimed it was an accident, just like the time she broke my bowling ball.
I have a titleist hybrid 14 that I do really like. That said, had an issue with one of the zippers and had it replaced. I bought through my club so they took care of it with titleist though, so not sure how easy it would’ve been to get replaced myself.
I bought some FJ shoes back in April through Golf Galaxy. Had an issue on one of the toes, reached out to FJ directly to send them in and got a new pair 3 weeks later. Their customer service is pretty easy to deal with, although maybe that’s because it’s some of their newest shoes so they had no way to argue it
Saug. We left AU Club a few years back when my second child was born. We were on the other side of town and I wasn't playing or using the other facilities nearly enough to justify it. Several of my friends have joined out at Saug in the last couple years, and their setup with the pool and the tennis court for my wife just fit us a lot better now.
Went with this Hybrid 5 bag. Really wanted an all white bag but wanted the 5-way more than the color.
does the 5-way have all full length dividers? that's one thing I don't like about the 14 is that it has some full length dividers but not for each slot.
So I'm kind of embarrassed. I had a men's tennis thing at my club at 630. Our driving range and chipping practice area is right next door. To kill time I hit a few balls on range and chipped some. One of our pros drove up on me and told me I had to leave because I wasn't wearing a collared shirt. I was wearing pocketed shorts and an underarmour drifit. Apparently one of our members saw me and called the new head pro to complain. I would never wear that to play golf and part of me gets it, but it was 6pm on a Wednesday and obviously I was just killing time. There were like 5 dudes out there. Pretty sure the one that complained was the guy going around to everyone complaining about the COVID hoax at the top of his lungs.
Yea just doesn’t make a whole lot of sense. edit I mean they are assuming that qualifies them as no longer contagious so I guess their caddies are “safe”. I guess the caddie could opt out technically? Just weird.
Talking with Degausser today and realized I had a big gap in my wedges so I ordered a 50° to match the rest of my bag.
Playing Wilson FG Tours and looking to move to more of a game improvement type set.....any good value recommendations from the past 3 or 4 years? I haven't really paid attention to what is going on in the equipment world recently
I appreciate a good cunty round of tuck your shirt in golf. But, my everyday course you can play 18 in a t shirt with no issues. 7 minutes from the house. It’s the only way to live. Oh, and fuck that dude enforcing a dress code on the range
Depending on how cunty your club is i could definitely understand prime time morning, early afternoon noon. But you can get fucked after 5-6pm on a random week day. That guy has nothing better going on than to go bitch about it
