We are going to get killed twice but this prob gives me an excuse to go to Alabama... something I thought I’d never say.
Looks like that series overlaps with your Oklahoma series. So 10 P5 games in a couple of seasons, hopefully we can do that as well sooner than later. I do like the P12 and SEC matchups that are popping up. We’ve got Cal and UCLA on the future schedule.
I want a true comparison of Starkville and Pullman and which one's shittier/more remote from someone who attends this series
We need more of this. A few schools are doing a great job of it. Georgia's future OOC(non GT) opponents 20 - Virginia 21 - Clemson 22 - Oregon 23 - Oklahoma 24 - Clemson 25 - UCLA 26 - UCLA 27 - FSU 28 - Texas and FSU 29 - Texas and Clemson 30 - Clemson and Ohio State 31 - Ohio State and Oklahoma 32 - Clemson 33 - Clemson
This game won’t really happen but in a world where Covid didn’t exist, going from week 0 to games Wed - Mon the following week would be a dream.
We’ve always done it. Normally, it’s places where we have a decent fan base close by (Memphis, Tulane, South Alabama) or a cool location (Wyoming, BYU).
That's why I said "normally." I don't know why we scheduled it, but at this point, I'm probably more likely to go to the Charlotte game home or away than an FCS opponent at home.
Got ya, I guess I only remember Memphis which makes sense given the proximity and calling it a rivalry game.
I went to Raleigh when we played State in 09 and it was fun. Their upper deck is small so you can’t get a bad seat
We got 7 quick then scored again but it was called back. Spent the rest of the game holding onto that 7. Freshman Stephon Gilmore broke up a pass in the end zone on the final play to seal it
