Not sure if there's any appetite for this thread or how many folks play. Had the thought to check to see if anyone was here playing. What y'all selling your turnips for? What giant ass fish did you just catch? Did the fucking scorpion just sting you? Will Blathers ever just stfu and take your fossils?
I’m for this thread happening. Mrs Ocho runs our island and does most of our heavy lifting. I haven’t been on today but will definitely let y’all know later. Wu broXcore prerecordedlive
My current week on the Stalk Market has been rough. Bought at 104 bells, and my pricing for the week has been (??-88-83-78-74-70). Still have a 30% chance it's a large spike week, but it's looking more and more like a decreasing week. I dropped the million bells I had into these damn things, so if I have to travel around to dump them, I'm willing to do that. Never done it before since this is only my second week selling 'nips, but I'm interested to figure it out. Also, I've seen people on Twitter doing the "My turnip prices are 650 right now!" and then posting some K-Pop gif. I have to assume those are all some sort of grift I'm not familiar with, right?
I’ve done 95% solo self found on the nip pricing. Once had my coworker bring in his switch for local island hopping to get his 370+ price.
For anyone holding onto their turnips still, I have a large spike in the AM coming. 208-624. I can drop a dodo code in here if you’d like
Next time then! I was able to sell yesterday via the reddit exchange to offload most at about that 600 price.
Nice. Yea, I ended up profiting about 5 million bells and then I opened up my doors on the exchange and pulled another 1.5 million in tips.
That's what most people seemed to do. It was my first time doing it, so I really have no idea what's normal. Most people dropped a bag or two. One guy dropped a few DIY's. One girl dropped a few recipes. I didn't really dictate the terms of it, but I think some people do.
Have been playing this with my 6 year old son. He’s all about diving, but I’m trying to get him to catch the marlin from the pier. He has no interest.
