HBO Max

Why the fuck would you have both when Max is the same price and offers significant more content including everything Now has?

 

I don’t get why they didn’t just automatically switch every Now customer over to Max because Now is completely pointless from this day forward.

 

My understanding is hbo now automatically upgrades to hbo max. However my hbo now app did not upgrade and has no upgrades available.

They couldn’t have made the branding for these services more confusing if they tried.

 

FYI the app on my phone auto updated and now says HBO MAX. Switched from black to a sort of purple.

They didn’t reach a deal with Roku or Fire TV. It might be awhile before it becomes available on those platforms. Pretty lame to go to launch while missing 2 of the biggest platforms.

I did figure out that hbo max will cast to my Roku tv.

 

Ya I need it on either Roku, fire, or LG. I’ve got it on the ps4 on my #2 tv, but would like to have access on the main. And no, I’m not moving it from tv to tv bc that’s my late night everyone asleep tv.

 

I like HBO Max, but I would like it even more if I could watch it on more than one TV. My xbox is the only one that can get the HBO Max app.

I got a message that HBOgo will end at the end of the month and that my login will now work for HBOmax. Does that sound right?

Damn that's the first thing I've wanted to see on HBO Max that I can't see elsewhere. Damn you HBO Roku disagreement.

 

I have normal HBO through cable and have always gotten HBO GO, or I guess what was HBO GO for free along with hbo on demand. Does that turn into Max as well?

And is there anyway to watch hbo max shows on demand via normal hbo on demand?

If you get HBO through AT&T then you should get Max for free. You'll have to download the HBO Max app to access it though.

 

Watched class action park last evening
Well almost all of it, fucking screen cast kept screwing up and I gave up with about 6 minutes left
Worked great until about 30 minutes left, then started acting all jacked up, disconnecting and skipping

Fucking hbo max needs to get an LG or roku app going soon
