Doubtful. I saw a poll today. Jones down 8 to Tubbs, 6 to Sessions. Hopefully sessions can pull off the win and jones will have a better shot. Still not happening
That last map makes it hard to trust any if the other data. Alabama fans makes up at worst 60% of the state and that last map is way off.
There are some counties on there that have both Alabama and Auburn fans as 1-10%. So are you telling me that Alabama and Auburn fans combined are less than 20% in Marion and Pickens County?
Yes. I don't think there's going to be a very big turnout. At my polling station only 30 people had voted before 8:30, which is generally the busiest wave there. I was actually the only person who had voted in the democratic primary (granted, it only included one race -- for Jefferson County treasurer).
True but he never publicly failed and embarrassed himself in Washington. To come back after that and try to win an open seat is...bold.
I imagine he, like me, thought that he had enough good will from GOP voters and establishment in the state to ride it out. Underestimated just how cultish GOP is with Trump.
Sessions should have known that Trump was going to shit on him and endorse Tuberville, which was going to make it really hard to win a state primary in Alabama
I find it fascinating how Trump can just continually hire people with good reputations among the Republican party, brag about hiring the best people, can them, call them incompetent and hire the next guy and repeat this process ad nauseum and none of his voters bat an eye.
There’s still a lot of minorities that need to be oppressed and one is never too old to oppress minorities.
Sometimes I regret not running Sessions over with my car when I had the chance last month, but I'm going to enjoy his the shame of his embarrassing failure after trying to boot lick a man who hates him while I'm not in prison.
Updated just now16% reporting Candidate Votes Pct. Tommy Tuberville 46,072 60.2% Jeff Sessions 30,488 39.8
Statewide turnouts are so low these runoffs have questionable legitimacy. We’re going to have U.S. house primaries with fewer than 10k votes cast.
The people of Alabama overwhelmingly chose a NY flip flopping crooked elite yankee asshole ('s surrogate) over Jeff Sessions, who was widely beloved in the state 5 years ago and could've coasted the rest of his life had he not legitimized Trump. Now his home state despises him. HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHA
I guess I should feel bad: I had to be out of state all day, and didn't occur to me to get an absentee. Although I think I voted Dem in the last one, so I wouldn't have been eligible?
Embarrassing to have to ask, but do you think Tuberville is worse that Roy Moore? Tuberville is amazingly stupid, which is the only reason why I ask. I think they share a lot of other qualities
