Sucks that even TN's major cities can't truly be free of hateful MAGA morons NY Pie in Nashville West has really good pizza. Forgot all about that place but it's awesome
Castrillo’s is awesome as well. Conservatives are just wanting to jump from Trump to another “outsider” because their politicians suck and the most important thing to them is lib tears. State legislature too busy passing abortion bills to actually help people. Tennessee gets what It deserve with its poor schools / obesity / lack of legal weed
Friendly reminder that he became "famous" because he went on a pudding strike and ate only pudding for 50 days straight to get DirecTV to have NFL Sunday Ticket in the USVI. He's a loser, a grifter, and most embarrassingly thinks he's smarter/richer/cooler than everyone else. I would call him a clown but I don't wanna talk that negatively about clowns who have souls and legit opinions.
Don't forget Clay's wife got railed by Eddie George and his whole family got kicked off a plane for lice but they were the real victims in that.

It was moving really fast over in Normandy with lots of snags in the water two weeks ago. Tennessee rivers are slippery with the clay and limestone river bottoms too.

the loss of Athlete's House has really become magnified now that Sport Seasons in Lion's Head is such a terrible store. They have about 20% of the shoe selection they offered in the late 90s and early 2000s. Was in pretty desperate need of a new pair of athletic shoes and ended up having to order off Amazon because they're such shit these days good to see a Trader Joe's in Lion's Head though
The TMZ article shaming our welcomed guests clearly didn’t point out we were under a nuclear threat yesterday and they are just out on Broadway partying like it’s 1999. I bet all those establishments made a killing with at least 50% of that revenue coming from “food”. Buy chips and salsa for $50 get a bucket of Coooooors light!
I still go there and check out their shoes on sale....and for athletic shorts and underwear. That's about it.
WFH and a crappy HVAC setup is skyrocketing out powerbill right now. AC ran all day yesterday and didn't get under 75 until evening.
Guys just call your governor and get a free quote or estimate Probably needs new filters, simple cleaning with a hose, and some freon. And that's gonna cost you $250.
Taco Sa1ad you're in real estate right? Trying to find out if there is a building code in Davidson County has a residential home building code for minimum R value in attics. I just measured how deep it was in ours in multiple spots and its shallow as shit in most places.
I am. I understand everything you are asking...but don't understand why? I believe there is code with new construction but its rarely super enforced. I've seen lots of builders say the R-value is higher but the insulation has been "pressed down." Also, I believe it relatively new so even 10-year-old houses are grandfathered in to lower amounts.
He’s getting all Karen about the quality of a build in a rental house when he likely hasn’t replaced his filter or had the landlord service the unit since he’s moved in An AC suddenly not cooling has nothing to do with insulation but good job working up a sweat for nothing. Your house is up to codes. Every house in this area is built with minimum code requirements unless it’s a custom build. Nobody is going to come fix it at this point if you prove otherwise, but oops I’m on ignore*
Because our house seems ridiculously inefficient when it comes to HVAC. It ran all day yesterday and didn't get under 75 till the evening. And that’s with blackout curtains in all the windows and pretty much never opening the door yesterday. Add that to the master bedroom being consistently 10 degrees hotter or colder than the rest of the house. Figured I'd measure how deep the blown in insulation was. Ours is 4 to 8 inches deep in most spots and the deepest i found was 10 inches in a couple spots. I read that the recommended depth is 16 to 18 in this area. If it's a code, there's a chance we can get the rental company to pay to have more added versus us paying to either get it done or rent the equipment to do it myself. And yes, I know its been very, very hot lately. But this is an all year issue pretty much.
Oh no. Not taking the bait. Let someone else deal with the scorned little guy. I'm sticking to asking questions of posters that don't act like sociopaths.
Jim Cooper has always seemed like a good dude but wouldn't be too upset if Keeda Haynes wins Nashville's congressional seat she wants legal weed nationwide https://www.nashvillescene.com/news...-challenger-for-nashvilles-congressional-seat
Jax Teller's neighbor posted footage on Nextdoor of him walking outside to check the HVAC unit it's pretty hilarious!
I got that 5-year-old eco-friendly new build with spray foam insulation and upstairs/downstairs units. 72-73 during the day and 70 at night, but it basically runs all night with 5 mins in between stopping and starting again. They did this weird thing in the crawlspace where they hooked up a dehumidifier with a pump that pushes the drier warm air into the house by the downstairs HVAC return. In conjunction with a duct from outside to the return closet that brings in outside clean air. Needless to say, these are the only 4 units they built this way in Nashville and an outside HVAC company that serviced it in year 1 was so confused as to why they did that.
I wish Keeda would call out AOC for saying you can't pick yourself by your own bootstraps. Keeda's story is great and she pushed past all obstacles to succeed in life.
Same issue. AC runs and runs and runs and cannot keep the set temp. It’s an older house (built in 63) but was flipped about 4 years ago. The windows were all upgraded, so not sure where my air is lost. The unit is old but still blows cold air.
I highly doubt Jim Cooper will be beaten by either of the primary challengers. Not enough steam behind them tbh.
Keeda probably realizes that she's the exception not the standard. And she probably understands there are 100s if not 1000s of people who work just as hard as her and don't have the cards fall the right way. Btw "picking yourself up by your bootstraps" originated from the 1800s as an example of an impossible task....it's only recently been turned into "you should work hard and you'll be successful and don't need any safety nets." Also, attacking AOC wouldn't be a popular move for a Democrat IMO.
Nashville native here, same issue with our house. Flipped 4 years ago. Similar age house. New windows. Our unit is old though. And incorrect size. But our duct work is clogged with all types of shit. Gonna have to get it all replaced and cleaned out. Like 8K
Yeah man, it sucks.... I have a home warranty so I’m trying to figure out to what extent they will help. I might just try and kill the unit before the warranty runs out.
Charlotte Park. we’ve been miserable during the summer months. Just keep putting it off. Couldn’t do it anymore though.
My unit is 19 years old.... I’m sure the warranty company won’t replace it without an extreme situation. They just want to keep putting band-aids on it.
Nashville Mayor John Cooper announced Tuesday his administration is crafting a new public health order that will require restaurants to close by 10 p.m. starting Friday as part of a continued effort to slow the spread of the coronavirus. Cooper said the order will impact both restaurants and “restaurants that ended up being bars in practice," and any business that serves alcohol. Drive-thru and take out services should be allowed to continue after 10 p.m., said Dr. Alex Jahangir, head of the city’s coronavirus task force. https://www.tennessean.com/story/ne...-require-restaurants-close-10-p-m/5478533002/
This is exactly the sort of shit that is so infuriating about our country right now. It’s great that Nashville is trying to crack down but it’s not like there’s an invisible force field at the county line. Assholes will just drive to the open bars in the burbs. Same for state lines etc. we need one single voice of leadership at the top that tells us all what to do and provide guidelines. Otherwise, I don’t ever see this ending.
Pretty easy for someone else to enter the tri-blend t-shirt market in Nashville and stomp Project 615
My money was in penis shaped THC gummies for the bachelorettes and a few of you or starting an HVAC company based on responses here but you may be onto something
