Knew that was coming when I saw you were the one to quote me... dude, just let it go. No way you will ever be as drunk as I am on a Saturday afternoon.
So Aaron Beam, came to speak at my B-school for capstone, and I thought it was amazing (actual presentation in spoilers). Now, I'm pumped to learn that there's a Netflix episode of Trial by Media on this called King Richard. My sister says it's amazing, so I'm pumped to watch. BamaNug and wes tegg I'm guessing the HealthSouth episode might interest you. Edit: It's also worth noting that Donald Watkins is currently in jail lmao. https://www.al.com/news/2019/07/don...-sentenced-for-federal-fraud-convictions.html Spoiler: Aaron Beam presentation
Anyone watch Kingdom (MMA show, not zombie show) on Netflix? It just started streaming this month. I could see it blowing up in the next few weeks. 3 eps in and it's really good so far. Very bingeable.
Street Food Latin America is good. Los Angeles has always had a very vibrant street food scene especially in the areas I grew up and went to as a kid. I am glad it’s getting more recognition and acceptance. Not sure how it’s around the county now it used to get a bad rap.
the ethnic/racial differences between the 2 first episodes was crazy/great. Especially when you consider they are neighbors and are the two largest countries in Latin America (at least south) don’t know how Mexico compares. The Mexico episode was cool too when you think that’s what most think Latin Americans look like.
Everything in that episode is great don’t get me started Choripans or chorizo sandwiches for the gringos ITT
Now those fritters I will fuck with every damn day also that stuff the lady was selling on the beach looked good too
I hate you so much rn Daniel Ocean on this Mexico episode those memelas with lard, cheese, and salsa my god I would eat those all day AND THE MEXICAN STREET CORN I don’t need this in my life rn but also I would live in Oaxaca just so I can pronounce it all of the time and now they introduce me to tlayudas my god
My son’s fiancé is from Oaxaca. There is a lot of regional pride by them so much that he used to get shit from her friends and some relatives because not only is he not from Oaxaca but he isn’t 100% Mexican. Obviously as his dad I am biased but it was weird to me that they thought it was bad to add someone over 6 feet fall light complexion with green eyes to the gene pool.
Yeah I definitely got the pridefulness from that episode also I’m getting a female empowerment vibe so fart through these first three episodes and I’m digging it
oh great now we get the Japanese influence in Peru and they are showing me ceviche, fried calimari, and fried rice all on the same plate why is God punishing me for living in America
Street Food: Latin America based on the recommendation of Daniel Ocean I could also fuck with those beef hearts after careful consideration
Dump’s Rankings after 4 Episodes (there are two left, Bolivia and Colombia, but I can’t do it tonight) 1. Argentina 2. Peru 3. Mexico (Sorry Daniel Ocean) 4. Brazil Peru tried hard to come at the #1 spot but as a fellow Italian I had to go with my heart in Argentina. Brazil’s food looked good but out of the four it was the lone man out of my taste. Mexico is just like a comfort food, like I knew some of it before, it had almost like a too familiar feel to it. Thank you for listening to my TED talk
I don’t like the sauce they put on their food mole. I feel My rankings will be 1. Peru (love seas food) 2. Argentina ( I love ranchera cuts of meat to grill) 3. Mexico 4. Brazil honestly the last two are interchangeable.
I can deal with this I agree that the mole empanadas in the Mexico episode were the least satisfying part
